26/9/2020 19:49 | Should we all contact Mines to include us in it? He amd his friends can buy, why we can't | marmar80
26/9/2020 17:05 | You can't fault the consistency here......shame it is on the 'disappointment' side of the scale....really would have hoped a placing, if needed, would have been at minimum discount or , if not, we all had a chance to participate.Sheesh. Back in the bottom drawer..... DL | davidlloyd
25/9/2020 13:24 | They should be using primary bid, this would allow all shareholders to participate. | slicethepie
25/9/2020 12:13 | Do you think there is still a chance to change it before the AGM so they can allocate part of the 1.20 to the existing shareholders in a form of RI? | marmar80
25/9/2020 09:05 | When hasn't biom had a wide open window of opportunity? It is Mine's inability (or reluctance) to take that opportunity.Much easier to just tap the shareholders on a regular basis and live on easy street. | begorrah88
25/9/2020 01:05 | there is only one share for me at the moment and thats Alba resources...possibly GWMO and VAST also...and victoria oil and gas because ENEO will pay up in october | johncasey
24/9/2020 22:16 | Why major shareholders simply won't disagree with those terms? | marmar80
24/9/2020 22:13 | i think the company have had it...the raw materials are sourced from outside the EU and with worsening cold weather and floods then crops will suffer greatly...and higher prices...the countries involved will be trying to feed their people not worry about growing stuff for enviromental reasons...its all over guys | johncasey
24/9/2020 22:04 | The board should be always giving an option to average down to existing shareholders and let them take say 20% of the new issue at the same conditions as the placing price. Now the newcomers will enter at GBP1.50 or less while long term holders will have no benefits from holding it for another year and waiting for a miracle to happen. Last year placing was at GBP3.00, which was the same level as the share price that time. Share was illiquid as today, only mad as us were buying it. This year placing is heavily discounted at GBP1.20. This is a huge nonsense to me as they allow for a lot more shares to flood it. Biome is still highly illiquid and it will take ages to offload all those shares. I woyld understand placing at GBP2.40, but not at 50% discount. Mines and the others must go, they are not good enough. | marmar80
24/9/2020 17:33 | A proposed fund raise out the way? Tut tut. I hope it gets the nod on 12th October then we can look forward to the next one ;-) | gwr7
24/9/2020 16:55 | Yep. Nice bounce. The fund raise is out the way. The Bioplastics division is growing very quickly which is what this company is all about. They have a growing US customer base with far more predictable revenues. I'd really recommend that interested parties read the reasons for the fund raising in today's news release, particularly "The Biome Bioplastics Business". Just one snippet :- "Packaging film: the Company is working on seven new customer projects that focus on the conversion of flexible packaging to compostable formats. Six of these projects are for the North American Market." I've also updated my 5 micro-caps to multi-bag blog:- | michaelmouse
24/9/2020 16:12 | Myles McNulty just bought in. Should see a sharp rise | oil be there
24/9/2020 13:39 | My advice would be to leave it well alone even if it were to be an open offer. | vaneric1
24/9/2020 13:39 | My advice would be to leave it well alone even if it were to be an open offer. | vaneric1
24/9/2020 13:36 | Only if your broker is punting out the placing. This is totally wrong - why isn't an Open Offer included for existing shareholders? | c2b
24/9/2020 11:12 | Can the existing shareholders participate and take them @1.2? | marmar80
24/9/2020 09:35 | Bragging about the revenue in the other rns but the grants have been included as revenue. | vaneric1

24/9/2020 08:26 | Disgraceful | c2b
24/9/2020 08:23 | Reminds me that these have been hanging around almost as long as the ancient Connemara was hanging about Galway Bay. If there was any REAL development value here I would have expected a vulture fund to have taken them out ages ago. Even pocket money for many ultra high net worth investors. So why pour more good money down the drain when you could buy the company. | pugugly
24/9/2020 08:10 | With 40% growth in Bioplastics it should be about 12m for 2023. | amt
24/9/2020 08:05 | Bioplastics is doing very nicely and the placing is to support growth albeit at a discounted price. Glad it's now out the way. The interim results are very encouraging for Bioplastics and in longer term the RF division will regain momentum. It's all about the Bioplastics division and the momentum in North America:- "The Bioplastics division performed exceptionally well in the first half despite the upheaval caused by Covid-19, with a 71% increase in revenues compared with the same period in the prior year." "Revenue in the second quarter was £1.2m and represented a new record for the division, despite the disruption caused by the pandemic." "Packaging film - the Company is working on seven new customer projects that focus on the conversion of flexible packaging to compostable formats. Six of these projects are for the North American market" | michaelmouse
24/9/2020 07:51 | You can hardly blame him for a global Pandemic which has whacked the other business. Plastics turnover has doubled which is remarkable. | amt |
