Why would anyone be interested ? New holders require a discount....the only people disadvantaged are pi who cannot get access to the placing and have to buy in the market. Good to see big holders are joining in for circa £400k

Placing at discount means to me that the company doesnt believe its shares are worth current price. Pity csuse share is trading at low level and they could easily announce raising at 350.

Interim results are exactly as outlined in the previous trading statement, although I wasn't expecting a £1.3m fund raise at 300p when they still have £1.7m cash in the bank and relatively low cash burn. In fact they generated cash last year.

However, it becomes apparent why they've raised when you read this single line:-

"Pipeline of approximately 15 key bioplastics development projects underway with a customer group that ranges from mid-sized businesses to multi-nationals"

That's why I invested. Bioplastics division is beginning to come of age. They need to invest for the anticipated significant growth.

Having a placing at £3 does not fill me with confidence on Stanelco next year. Looks like its flatlined as no addition orders over previously announced £1.3 for this half

Not a single rns for over a month. Wonder if all the staff is on extended summer holidays or simply there is no activity there at all.

10k buy on Friday which ticked the share price up, dropped back today. If they can keep the bioplastic revenue rising then this could really be huge.Gla

Plastic and plastic pollution are in the news every day. The UK waste infrastructure is way behind Europe and USA. Bioplastic are gonna grow globally as a viable alternative to petroleum based plastic. That is fact... the question is can Mines and biome take advantage of the growing market. I'm hoping yes.Steady progress hopefully

RF revenue back to normal 700k per quarter levels with a new contract of 1.3m signed for delivery this year in addition to normal RF business. Bioplastic revenue should show a steady rise as the year goes on and encouraging that they have increased capacity to cope with the anticipated demand. Looking good for the medium to long term imo.Gla

Wasn't expecting a fall but I suppose the worry is the Stanelco quality of earnings at this stage in the cycle. Alright for next 6 months but then. .Have to wait and see

Yes I suppose there is now a firm upward trend in Bioplastics and growing pipeline. I get the impression that Stanelco is doing a bit better than expected albeit last year was exceptionally good.

They seem confident that sales will soon ramp up in Bio. Good order for Stanelco. They previously advised higher development costs and with moving production to US should be no cash worries,

Trading update. OK I suppose. A bit concerned about cash burn but apart from that gradual increase in Bioplastics from a low base.
