29/10/2020 07:17 | Trading is in line with BioPlastics showing strong growth (the interesting bit). "Revenues in the Bioplastics division in Q3 at £1.6m were 48% ahead of the previous quarter (Q2 2020: £1.1m) and 131% ahead of the prior year comparative (Q3 2019: £0.7m). The division's revenues in the first nine months of the financial year stood at £3.8m, 93% ahead of the equivalent period last year (2019: £2.0m)." | michaelmouse
29/10/2020 07:09 | Good update. Very strong Q3 in Bioplastics. Q4 in line. Enough cash for 2 years at current burn rate. | amt
21/10/2020 18:50 | 15k sell today at 120p | thordon
20/10/2020 18:25 | believe we are looking at a low point of 125p to 130p , the raise funds and price now has stopped the sellers as no-ones buying the shares. Why would you when they bought at 120p Wil be buying to reduce my loss , when the bottom nears | thordon
15/10/2020 14:07 | Spot on van | begorrah88
15/10/2020 12:39 | Long term pi's wouldn't have bought in even if they'd been given the opportunity, they've learned by now that the share price only goes one way and it ain't up. | vaneric1
15/10/2020 11:46 | Looks like pi selling, no surprise as treated like dirt by company. If they had allowed pi to participate in the recent fund raise rather than favour the few they might have buyers rather than sellers! | slicethepie
12/10/2020 20:00 | The problem is the shares will be sold to the likes of Milton and then slowly dump the shares , as long as share price stays above 120p then they have made a profit | thordon
01/10/2020 15:53 | Ok makes sense."Of the New Ordinary Shares, 256,997 will be issued pursuant to the Company's existing share authorities (the "First Placing Shares")" - which is same like: issued to the chosen ones | marmar80
01/10/2020 15:41 | The first tranche of the placing were listed today so yes. He may also have some in the second tranche which requires shareholder approval. | slicethepie
01/10/2020 13:38 | Does it say he bought them for 120? Can't see it | marmar80
01/10/2020 12:10 | Didn't think about it, but yes, fully agree. | marmar80
01/10/2020 11:45 | Interesting rns today | marmar80
30/9/2020 16:23 | I find it really sad that a company with such potential (IMO) has no idea how to promote itself. This placing summed up how out of touch they are with their shareholders choosing to ignore them. They have no logical explanation of why they did not use primary bid just stupidity. I was surprised the two largest holders accepted some dilution either they can't afford any more or their optimism in mines is diminishing | slicethepie
27/9/2020 09:15 | FYI - It's impossible to flip the shares for a 20%-30% return. The shares are far too illiquid. Even very small trades can move the share price up or down by 20%-30%. I'm always keen for Directors to put in more money, but it should be noted that they did put a similar amount of their money into the last fund raise at £3 and have taken voluntary pay reductions this year. I notice a guy called Myles McNulty (a very successful PI I believe?) took 4.5% of the equity in this raise. The important point is what the equity is being used for. The interims and outlook clearly show that they're reaching a tipping point for their Bioplastics specifically in the USA. Revenue growth was 71% last year (against the Covid-19 backdrop). There are many USA projects in the pipeline with existing and new customers including small, medium and multi-national companies. It's a great growth opportunity that they couldn't exploit without this funding, and now it's done they can concentrate on growing the business throughout 20202/2021. What other micro-caps are achieving 71% growth in the current environment? With Brexit also on the near horizon, the fact that their customer base is largely USA based is great news. | michaelmouse
26/9/2020 19:58 | Message received from very limited placing and massive discount together with (imo) minimal subscription by directors etc: is that those not associated with the company were not impressed by the roadshow and would only participate as a massive discount - Possibly (imo) and just guessing for a quick 20%-30% turn - "Certain of the Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities have participated in the Fundraise, pursuant to the Placing. John Standen, Non-Executive Chairman, and his wife Kathleen Standen have subscribed for 12,500 New Ordinary Shares in aggregate, which represents an amount of GBP15,000 at the Issue Price. Paul Mines, Chief Executive Officer, has subscribed for 12,500 New Ordinary Shares, which represents an amount of GBP15,000 at the Issue Price. Sally Morley, the Managing Director of Biome Bioplastics, has subscribed for 4,167 New Ordinary Shares, which represents an amount of GBP5,000.40 at the Issue Price" So just £35K - What a vote of confidence!! or am I being too much of a cynic? | pugugly
26/9/2020 19:49 | Should we all contact Mines to include us in it? He amd his friends can buy, why we can't | marmar80
26/9/2020 17:05 | You can't fault the consistency here......shame it is on the 'disappointment' side of the scale....really would have hoped a placing, if needed, would have been at minimum discount or , if not, we all had a chance to participate.Sheesh. Back in the bottom drawer..... DL | davidlloyd
25/9/2020 13:24 | They should be using primary bid, this would allow all shareholders to participate. | slicethepie
25/9/2020 12:13 | Do you think there is still a chance to change it before the AGM so they can allocate part of the 1.20 to the existing shareholders in a form of RI? | marmar80
25/9/2020 09:05 | When hasn't biom had a wide open window of opportunity? It is Mine's inability (or reluctance) to take that opportunity.Much easier to just tap the shareholders on a regular basis and live on easy street. | begorrah88 |
