I was on our trading desk yesterday and watched the RSP for a bit.....
Peel were 35.05p bid for 5 (yes five) shares whilst offering 100,000 at 35.5p
There was very little strength at this level with stock well offered.

I think the rise has a bit to do with fortnite WC, but also, for anybody who pays attention to the charts, its a natural breakout from a pennant pattern on the daily.

Seen it coming for a while.

Events correlating to price action or vice-versa? Who knows.

The rise this week is simply on the back of the Fortnite World Cup.......
Esports has been a big news story and will continue to hit the headlines.
Not many listed Esports companies but along with Bids you can see share price rises in Gfinity from 4.6 to a high of 5.1p on Monday.

Games related is the pretty upbeat KWS half year update this morning. Shows that games and game development are definitely in focus these days, but I think we all know that here.

"Demand from new game streaming services has continued to drive volume increases for us, and we continue to benefit from clients increasing the number of services acquired from Keywords with 113 clients now taking 3 or more services (99 as at 31 December 2018). I'm particularly pleased with the progress in building our Game Development services which we first entered only two years ago and, with further acquisitions still to come, is well set to become our largest service line by revenue.

And there's the reason for the rise. The monkeys and others with access to the RNS reporting system would have seen that RNS lodged for issue a few days before, wouldn't have know what it said but will have played the share price accordingly on an assumption as to what it might say.

Pubmatic and Avocet are small scale. Check out their company accounts - revenues less than £8m last year (exempt)

I think a big DSP is what they are fishing for. TTD as a DSP would be as transformational as securing EA as a game developer for example - the current DSPs are placeholders (I recon).

Nice post McFly. Can you explain something.
BIDS have stated that both PubMatic and AVOCET are available to work programmatically on and end to end basis. This to me means the whole process is working programmatically from advertiser through to in game advert with associated advertising since the end of December 2018 (for PubMatic).
What are you expecting to be different in December this year?
