27/1/2012 08:45 | Picked up a few here as well. | matt123d
27/1/2012 08:39 | alpha - yep, 14.5p support proved effective. Many shorters will have set their stops in that area and will now be out. Their exits (mine included) will have contributed to the apparent buying but will disappear from the equation. | m.t.glass
27/1/2012 08:31 | Gone long here, Chart looking great after pull back from recent high found support at 14.5p previous support /resistance and easy place to put stop looking for 25p on this move higher. Great risk reward imo.. 50k buy gone through above the offer. Good luck shorts.. | alphatrend1
25/1/2012 09:44 | IG Index have stopped taking online bets now - gone 'telephone only' Sometimes that is only a brief arrangement - but could be causing a degree of panic among those with upbets they want out of. (Apparently 75% of those betting were betting upwards) | m.t.glass
24/1/2012 14:22 | If entirely unfounded, there's a pretty good possibility the price will collapse back to the previous trendline | m.t.glass
24/1/2012 14:06 | I think the recent spike was on rumour, not sure what it was because it didnt appear here. | lennonsalive
18/1/2012 12:52 | Lennonsalive Looks like I'm a bit behind the times with my info same info though. | takeatip
18/1/2012 11:25 | bgbl is establishing itself as a software / services company to the utility area beyond smart metering. read the rns's - the business model is changing | weatherman
17/1/2012 18:57 | I heard that back in December and that they owed a company (edmi) £1.6 million, they had been threaten to have the supply of meters stopped. | lennonsalive
17/1/2012 18:42 | Heard a whisper they owe 1 big company around 1.5 Million. Disputed debt but have heard they are in the wrong. | takeatip
17/1/2012 12:26 | BGBL dont have a good reputation within the industry. They are not one of the bigger players and have laid off meterworkers recently. With no new contracts to install meters, I dont see why this has risen. | lennonsalive
17/1/2012 11:30 | Recent spike collapsing? Down briskly in past 90 minutes. | m.t.glass
16/1/2012 08:40 | There's no shortage of negative headlines swirling around regarding smart meters - in the USA as well as the UK | m.t.glass
15/1/2012 17:48 | Which? warns of energy smart meter 'fiasco' COMMENTS (274) Smart meters will mean the end of meter readings as the information will be available remotely Continue reading the main story Related Stories Smart meter savings 'uncertain' Q&A: Smart meters The scheme to install new energy meters in every home in the UK should be halted because of spiralling costs, a consumer campaign group has warned. | dugganjoe
15/1/2012 14:01 | Energy suppliers will increase the cost of gas and electric to you, to cover the cost of smart meters. Normal meters cost about £50, smart more than double or more, until they come down in price. Also if you have a smart meter fitted and move suppier, then the new suppliers systems might not be compatible with your smart meter. So they will want to rip out your existing one and put their one in. Different smart meters are being fitted by different companies and not all houses will be able to get a signal to send the data. Funny how the share price has moved and yet no rumours or information forthcoming from BGBL. | lennonsalive
15/1/2012 13:43 | Yes it would almost be cheaper to employ more meter readers and have them read meters at 6 monthly intervals... Still at a loss to fathom why the share price re-rated to such an extent?. | grannyboy
15/1/2012 12:53 | This may affect the price on Monday, Which reports smart meter fiasco. | beeezzz
11/1/2012 11:24 | There certainly wasn't anything in the Dec 13th results statement to justify a trebling of the share price. Unless some explanation emerges without further delay, it could collapse far more rapidly than it rose. Those who spreadbet it on the way up via IGindex now find it isn't tradeable online - telephone only. | m.t.glass
10/1/2012 23:00 | I've emailed them today to ask if an RNS is going to be released. | lennonsalive
10/1/2012 22:48 | weatherman I mean the real state they find themselves in. There is more to this company than the accountants figures. Most of it bad | takeatip
10/1/2012 12:43 | grannyboy... It's going ballistic now they must come out with something, either I missed something or there's a takeover coming. If there is, some sort of investigation should be done. Luckily I sold out of these in my sipp at 38p so not to much damage, just hold some out side sipp. | beeezzz
10/1/2012 12:27 | £924 profit for me Im taking it :) | sodium999
10/1/2012 11:49 | it is ridiculous, no comments whatsoever, categorically inside info! | jonnyno1
10/1/2012 10:23 | Yes i see the position you're in beeezzz and its alwasys nice to see a share you're invested in rise, my gripe is how far this has rose(nearly 200%) without any reason or RNS from the BOD?. We all know there's a lot of undervalued companies around, but usually you get a response from the board.. | grannyboy
10/1/2012 09:57 | grannyboy.... I agree, I stated earlier that I was surprised the company did not make some sort of announcement, BOD lacking credibility, however, as I'm in a loss position at the moment I'm really only interested in seeing it rise, as it is doing again today. Maybe the government is due announce compulsory meters for all homes, must check. | beeezzz |
