Agree Barclays v slow. I have complained on a number of occassions as it is tedious checking and then messaging only to find that the inevitable happens and the payment is made before I get a reply!

Have you seen the money yet Flagon?

HL paid; from experience Barclays will be 3 or more days behind as they aren't very good! That's that closed and tidies up a couple of accounts.

Look what appeared in my account yesterday:

Following the Winding Up, a final distribution payment has been made. Cash proceeds of GBP0.0002882 per share held were credited to accounts on 03 August 2017.

So £ 29 for every 100k shares held.

No longer being looked after by FRP London, now with their Brighton Office. Spoke with Russell Deen yesterday, he's confirmed that HMRC have given PAYE clearance but still not signed off on CT, despite calling HMRC and speaking to the MVL team directly. As such FRP can't do the final distribution (not that it's going to count to much) until they have CT clearance and HMRC don't seem to be in much of a hurry. Any questions then give Russell a call on 01273916666 or email russell.deen@frpadvisory.com

replied to me in August, if no reply we can hasle direct!
Langlad, pls post any reply you receive. Here's hoping it will help pay a bit towards Christmas

Thank you for your email dated 26 July 2016.

Please be advised that I am still in correspondence with HMRC. Unfortunately at this stage I would not be able to provide you with a specific time line but I envisage that any outstanding matters will concluded soon.

I will write to all shareholders to notify them of the final dividend as soon as I have a date to progress the same.

Kind regards

I have written to my broker to ask them to approach the liquidator again. Last time this was done 6 months ago.

Thanks - we'll await developments - at least this delay reduces my capital gains liability for 2015-16.

6 weeks ? Now over 10 weeks since message 1137. Final payment is over due - too much to hope for HMRC to pull their fingers out...

Does anyone know how this is treated for capital gains tax purposes. Do we consider all sold with the final payment, or is it spread over the three years, 2014, 2015, 2016 ?

Bglobal plc (AIM:BGBL), the leading provider of smart energy solutions and services to the UK energy market, is pleased to announced it has reached an agreement with Energy Assets Group plc to dispose of the entire issued ordinary share capital of its metering business, B Global Metering Limited ('BGM'), for a cash consideration of GBP2.3m, which includes payment of GBP0.2m for the cash balance of BGM on completion. The disposal is made on a debt free basis with a working capital adjustment mechanism in place post completion. The sale and purchase agreement contains warranties and indemnities that are customary for a transaction of this nature

I asked Hargreaves L to inquire on my behalf last week. Prompt reply to say that liquidator says response from HMRC is still awaited but that they were hoping to finalise within 6 weeks.

They might well have been forced to, though as I don't have any expert knowledge this is purely a speculative statement.

Would it be reasonable to assume that the liquidators have been waiting for the new tax year before making the final distribution?
