I bought some more today - the share price pattern seems to follow big jumps after gradual declines. The share price is now close to historical lows.

But this is only my opinion.

Hi Ben,

The next period is going to be the acid test for me. The government support to market demand is likely to be confirmed. BGBL's strategy appears to be sound and their performance has been pretty good in a difficult period. There is clearly a more challenging time ahead and this will prove whether this management team is up to the job. It's only when the going gets tough that the quality of a firm's management is revealed.

Watching with interest.

Regards, Maddox

Good energy well dont look that big but still going the right way. Meter on the wall news is even worse. Problem will be when they do ramp up this company is the worst in the market to work for so most installers will go elsewhere. My contact is holding on in there, but like most installers when things pick up he will go and work for a decent company.

Great news from Utilisoft again, well done. What a great strategic acquisition they were.

Dont know how important it is but next set of figures for meters on the wall will be below expectations. In the long term not important but short term who knows.

Well the answer is out very important. Wish at the time I knew how important could of shorted. Still I will know when things pick up will then buy.

Please don't tell me you guys are holding this.

This is extremely damaged in terms of investor confidence and technicals.

Even if this is the bottom of the fall it will take a long time for any price recovery in such a wounded stock. Surely there are better investments out there.

Take a look at VLX and VIP

Yes, I was thinking about that Julcester this morning after sleeping on it. They would make for a very attractive acquisition and merger with one of the big companies. Wouldn't surprise me if something is afoot, especially with such a melodramatic drop. Anyway, as I always do in these cases, I'm going to stop watching it for a month.

Maybe I should try online bingo? ;0)

Your right and this means all the others are watching what BG does. BG are leaders. Wining contracts is great, however installations of 1000s is nothing compared to millions of meter installs which rivals of BGlobal have achieved.

Still, who knows what will happen when the Smart rollout starts.

That is because the big 6 are making their own plans. Look at Centricas aquisition of a 15% stake in Alertme last year, the likeliest outcome is a takeover now, but at what price.

Millions of meters to install for the Smart rollout, however Bglobal have not won any contracts/tenders with the big 6.

Long term things are still the same millions of meters to fit. Short term things will be slow maybe they can stop and look at their management problems. Get rid of the ex meter fitters running the show and get in proper management.

Yes the acquisition did provide a temporary boost to the SP,
it's a long way from that price now.

EI,
In the interests of fairness, it did make highs after your (2-line) caution.

Reaction seems excessive to me. I don't hold.

I cautioned here previously on both cashflow and the capex requirments of the business, hopefully it made some think twice, just imv as always.

20p failing now, being offered below mid price.

Some large holders will want an exit based upon the outlook.

Would say 10p-15p would be a possible trading range for new holders to accumulate.

Yes Matt I would, I think its a great price to buy in to a company in a fledgling market with the best chance of making it big.

Too many people here just banging the negatives in, left, right and centre. OK, its a tough market this year, the government's size 56 shoes has managed to put the brakes on (yet another) sector, I think they are being more than upfront and honest about market conditions and expectations. They have some other good streams of revenue, and I'm sure they will be fully realised, and that new forms of revenue will also come on line.

Its an absolute bargain at the moment but its not a dive in and dive out share with a big profit, despite the analysts earlier opinions.

There are some tremendous positives in the report and big things happening in their sector in the future. The company is only just beginning to realise and market out what a unique offering they have.

I think what I'm saying is that they give me confidence, so I'm holding... or perhaps maybe just a few more... lol
