04/7/2011 17:01 | There's a large seller trying to liquidate, market makers improving the price to tempt buyers to buy off him. | matt123d
04/7/2011 16:24 | There's something funny going on here !! (check-out the trades since Friday 1st) | vatteton
04/7/2011 11:10 | To finalise its takeover perhaps ???? or to finalise negotiated terms for last payment of utilisoft ???? Who knows ... | weatherman
04/7/2011 09:13 | These should take another leg down on results | matt123d
04/7/2011 08:31 | So the preliminary results delayed until the 11th, why??? | vatteton
30/6/2011 21:41 | Due for a rise IMO, I'm in today and a few more tomorrow I think. | g2theary
30/6/2011 13:38 | Fall way overdone imho risk/reward ratio on a 2 to 3 year time frame is a no brainer. | greg the grinch
30/6/2011 11:47 | Ticking up again - was that the bottom? | weatherman
28/6/2011 20:04 | Loads of them about | takeatip
28/6/2011 11:25 | Does anyone reading this know of any "Smart Meter" competitors in the UK? Many thanks, DB | db1917
27/6/2011 16:58 | Look forward to financial report on the 4th July. Hope to get clarification on how much they need to find to complete Utilisoft purchase and how they intend to fund it. I note from the original details they can fund the balance with cash if necessary - would be interesting to know who is selling at present. | weatherman
27/6/2011 16:10 | Can't borrow the shares to short this. I'm short but my Spreadbetting company took them on their own book hedged against long clients. | matt123d
27/6/2011 16:02 | Or shorters exploit weakness in small companies. Touchstone went down to about 15p - a couple of years later it is reporting eps of nearly 15p (down to a PE of 1), although taken off the market due to presence of cynical shorters. | weatherman
27/6/2011 09:25 | Price action indicates real trouble here. Just no sign of any demand to clear the large seller. | matt123d
27/6/2011 08:42 | Or Smart Metering Systems SMS.L even? | benfetch2010
25/6/2011 22:56 | OnStream are part of national grid and are not to be confused with Smart Metering Services. | lennonsalive
25/6/2011 19:05 | "The Board is pleased to report that in the twelve month period ended 31 March 2011, the Group has been profitable and cash generative and has performed slightly ahead of market expectations. At the year end the Group had cash balances of approximately GBP7 million which is sufficient for the funding requirements of the Group, including payment of the cash element of the earn out arising from the acquisition of Utiligroup Limited ("Utiligroup")." One worry is possible share dilution from the payout to complete Utiligroup purchase. | weatherman
25/6/2011 16:53 | how much cash is left the share price is saying this will hit the lamp post at the next corner | dugganjoe
25/6/2011 16:37 | OnStream details = "On Admission to AIM, the market capitalisation of the Group at the Placing Price will be £50 million." "Smart Metering Systems has a strong financial track record delivering a substantial CAGR over the last three years - Revenues 16.6% EBITDA 96.3% Net Assets 198.8%" "For the year ended 31 December 2010 Smart Metering Systems reported revenue of £12.4m and EBIT of £2.2m." "To facilitate liquidity in the shares post admission to AIM, £17.0 million of Existing Ordinary Shares have also been placed at the Placing Price on behalf of the Selling Shareholders." Note some existing OnStream shareholders are selling. Now for BGBL from half year to 30 Sept 10 = "Revenue increased by 114% to £12.46 million including £2.03 million from Utiligroup (2009: £5.82 million), with recurring and other services revenues increasing by 107% to £2.05 million (2009: £0.99 million). Administrative costs increased to £5.01 million (2009: £2.57 million). Adjusted profit before taxation was £1.31 million (2009: Loss £0.67 million) before charging £0.19m for acquisition costs and £0.35 million for amortisation of intangibles recognised on acquisition. Profit before taxation was £0.77 million (2009: £0.67 million loss). Earnings per share were 0.62p (2009: 0.75p loss). The Group's cash balances at 30 September 2010 were £4.74 million [now £7m]. Fully diluted number of shares including convertible loan notes = 101m - at 12.5p = mkt cap of £12.6m I am not saying OnStream is not a good investment if that is where you want to place your dosh, but BGBL has fallen too far in my opinion based upon the way the company is developing from a meter installer to an end to end metering service company. Yes it may have a difficult year, but there is value here I think. All imo. | weatherman
25/6/2011 10:12 | Twice the revenue of OnStream? Really? OnStream have fitted millions of meters with rental yearly, how many have BGlobal fitted 50K? | lennonsalive
24/6/2011 09:05 | So BGBL reports revenue of twice that of onstream, and yet is valued a quarter of the price? Does anyone else see value here ? BGBL may not have an easy year due to delays in mass roll out, but with utilisoft it is moving into higher margin business. Of course there is competition, but it is an area of growth in the safe utility sector, and in difficult times helping save others money. And new contract with Hampshire CC schools announced this morning. | weatherman
24/6/2011 07:38 | OnStream have been around since 2004 (?) https://www.onstream Loads of competition in this market! SSE go with Elster! | lennonsalive

23/6/2011 10:36 | Appears to be a very large seller offering stock at below mid so until they're cleared this will gradually decline. | matt123d |
