Its obvious they are getting an order - its the major retailer launch in 2013 . This is just the sub contract agreement which kicks in presumably wants the retailer hits the launch button.

ITs just got a few more people aware. Assuming the retialer is a name to wet peoples appetites and assuming they hit the go button for 2013 launch then that news is the biggy which will transform this outfit.

Todays news is a bit of a non event other than to get a few people to look at the company and its potential imho

Worth clicking on the Australian 'Stop Smart Meters' website to do some proper research Simon

ARE SMART METERS STILL A GOOD IDEA?

Given that legitimate double blind tests have now showed that the non-ionizing radiation emitted by smart meters in some people affects vital signs (heart rate, respiration, blood pressure) and observations in the laboratory show (1) Cell damage, (2) DNA Chain breaks, (3) Breaches in the blood-brain barrier, is it still a good idea to go wild installing these meters.

Wifi and Mobile Phones don't operate in the same wireless spectrum as these Zigbee/Mesh network waves do

I must remember to turn off my wifi when I am not using it and come to that my mobile phone, as normally I have these on 24 hours a day! Oh yes, and so do millions of others. Don't want to subject myself to harmful side effects.

With those consumer items you use them occasionally and you have a choice.

Smart Meters are generally IMPOSED by Government/utilities UPON people so there is no FREE CHOICE.

Furthermore they potentially operate 24 HOURS per DAY, 7 DAYS a WEEK, and 52 WEEKS per YEAR !

I guess viktor/robson doesn't use mobile phones, microwave ovens, TV remotes, WI-FI or cordless doorbells. And probably wears a tin foil hat.

viktor give it a rest, you will have us in tears. I take it that you don't invest in oil or resource stocks then? The dame age they apparantly do to children and the like is a lot worse!

I do take note that someuwin seems more interested in spamming this on other threads rather than potential adverse effects on children if these smart meters are imposed on consumers by utilities. Really does show the morals or lack of them of some people.

viktor I do like your attempt to get the price down here. You haven't posted here before, at least under your current alias but yet you seem to have great knowledge regarding the pit falls of Smart Metering. If you look hard enough you can find all sorts of research done on so many electronic devices that you we would be living in the stone age if you beleived it all.

Guys be careful with all the hype about Smart Metering.

There could be huge health consequences for people and their children so this whole issue could blow up bigtime.

someuwin, I should think it is. Afterall this is Samsung the worlds biggest manufacturer of elecrtonic devices, beating Apple on sales for the past two months. IMHO this could be one hell of a deal.
Being 2nd on the leader board should help attract some attention to this great news.
