09/8/2012 10:11 | someuwin that is exactly how I read it. Looks like this could have a good run over the next few weeks. | simonparker5
09/8/2012 10:04 | You can't get a better 'heads up' that a significant order is on the way than that RNS! | someuwin
09/8/2012 10:00 | Wonder if we will hear anything further with the Annual Report due Tuesday 14th | vatteton
09/8/2012 09:26 | Great announcement this morning looks like significant orders are on their way. 9 August 2012 BGLOBAL PLC ("Bglobal" or the "Company" or the "Group") BGLOBAL SIGNS JV AGREEMENT WITH SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION Bglobal plc (AIM: BGBL) signed a joint venture agreement (the "JV Agreement") with Samsung C&T Corporation ("Samsung C&T") on 9 August 2012. The JV Agreement will become binding and effective after certain conditions including the following are satisfied: receiving a firm order from a UK energy supplier for the smart energy solution and the necessary regulatory and internal approvals from Samsung C&T. Therefore, the JV Agreement will become binding and effective when the above conditions are fully satisfied. - ends - | simonparker5
24/7/2012 22:01 | Lennonsalive You will soon be able to get a free boiler. The boilers use the heat within to run a motor and create electricity. The company will keep the FIT for 5 years then you own the boiler and claim the FIT also. | takeatip
13/7/2012 21:44 | It all costs money, people would rather spend it on the latest iphone or flat screen tv than save energy or control use of energy. Smart grids and such are a nice idea, however I cant see it ever happening. | lennonsalive
13/7/2012 19:36 | Thought we needed smart meters so as all the new stuff PV, Boilers that produce electricity, heat/ground source pumps etc etc could record the amount of electricity going back to the grid. That's always assuming people will want a free boiler supplied by Energetix. They keep the FIT for 5 years after that you have the tariff as well win win situation. Loads of stuff in the pipeline exciting times ahead. | takeatip
12/7/2012 08:29 | Smart Metering had been ongoing for a number of years, millions of pounds spent by the taxpayer, private and public business to support it. Milestones were being set in place for a rollout, with a target of 2019 for mass installations to be completed. Suppliers waited and didnt want meters installation to go ahead unless really needed to, as Smart rollout was coming. However, the coalition arrived and put a stop to it. I'm unsure where this leaves the future of smart, industrial only perhaps. With a smart industrial you can have up to date meter reads, so you know the factory consumption. Consumer wise, why would suppliers take on the extra cost and installation time of the smart meters. Also, I know from working in this field, there were a hell of a lot of question marks over systems, how one suppliers smart would work when customers left them and went to another supplier. I'm sure these could be all overcome, but why bother if they arent needed anymore and we just have the normal meters installed. | lennonsalive
10/7/2012 16:28 | However no growth isn't very forward looking, although I wouldn't suspect the price will fall further. Looks cheapish | lennonsalive
10/7/2012 16:10 | And costs for the forthcoming year will be lower. These should report better eps in the coming year even with no growth. | weatherman
10/7/2012 13:32 | Revenues at Bglobal - a leading provider of smart metering solutions to the energy market fell to £18.41m in the year to the end of March, down from £28.99m last time. But recurring revenues increased by 29% to £9.21m and more than 175,000 smart meters have now been installed. Gross margins rose to 60% from 45% and there was an adjusted after-tax profit of £1.18m against a loss of £3.1m last time. So not generating any new work, however margins better. 3.5 million cash and profit of 1.8 million. | lennonsalive
03/7/2012 19:30 | They owed EMDI money a while back, not sure if this is the situation now. | lennonsalive
03/7/2012 18:13 | Lennonsalive Just spoken to one of the subcontractors, says he is being paid on time. No problem being supplied meters. What makes you think they cant afford to pay bills | takeatip
30/5/2012 18:39 | Yep, most of the public dont give a damn. Smart meters are a fade for domestic customers. Meters cost more to install and make, engineer spends more time at the customers house installing (1-1 1/2 hour) Most meters can last 20 years, some are ripped out after months (silly really and not environmental). | lennonsalive
30/5/2012 12:35 | Lennonsalive Why will the public not want smart meters. Most could not give a damm and at the end of the day the meter needs changing anyway. Most are passed their sell by date. Thats is meters passed their sell by date, not members of the public. Maybe both then. I know I am | takeatip
26/4/2012 07:43 | Interesting development ! Neul deploys first city-wide white space network in Cambridge Following a UK trial, Neul launched the world's first city-wide network using TV white space spectrum in the city of Cambridge, England. The company said it will demonstrate, in collaboration with Bglobal Metering, the world's first smart electricity meter reading over a white space network, which take advantage of unused spectrum between TV broadcast stations. Neul said it plans to move to commercial trials later this year followed by a full service launch in 2013. More.... | masurenguy
02/4/2012 16:39 | You were saying!!!!!!RNS | beeezzz
02/4/2012 09:07 | To be honest, when the market was deregulated from British Gas. Dozens of companies started up. Many of them vanished or were took over. The only difference is here, that BGBL can install and data read them. However, domestic wise, that market is finished for BGBL as consumers will not want Smart Meters. It just leaves them with I&C, where they are now are not winning any new work. The volumes they are installed are tiny, not enough to keep them afloat. They will start to burn the cash I have no doubt with starting a new business. | lennonsalive
02/4/2012 08:10 | A good deal this morning, but no financial details. | weatherman
02/3/2012 14:38 | Could be heading through 20 and 50 moving average, RSI under 50, MACD crossing down. | lennonsalive
21/2/2012 17:16 | 2Trying Well you know who MT Glass is don't you | takeatip
20/2/2012 22:24 | Your trying 2 hard....lol | lennonsalive
20/2/2012 22:14 | This post is probably complete nonsense ! But I'll make it anyway . I keep my eye on this and on OPE . As both firms are local . I hold shares in neither . Now I note the following post from M.T.Glass on the OPE thread . -------------------- M.T.Glass - 31 Jan'12 - 17:13 - 2691 of 2841 I don't know. I don't even know if the companies they are close to buying are UK/european ones, or Indian ones - so the idea of any of them being merged in whatever way might be nonsense. I do recall them saying they were looking to acquire other innovative UK engineering companies. -------------------- Hmmm - an innovative UK engineering company . Both involved in what might be termed as green industries . Both very near to each other in location terms . Throw in share prices bouncing around....... M.T.Glass - as I have mentioned your name in this post , I will remove this post immediately without question if you wish. | 2trying
20/2/2012 11:44 | Graph looks like the big dipper, what a ride, good trading share, BOD seem very quiet on this share price movement. Up 23%+ | beeezzz |
