24/3/2021 12:24 | Yes indeed. Eps not turnover. I cannot see how growth would go from astronomical to pedestrian. It's like they've just mastered the techniques of customer acquisition and then forgotten again. No chance. The customers acquired to generate the eps of 60p at the interims will, in my opinion, still be customers in the next half + any new customers they've added. And I'll bet they've added more than 10%. 10% additional customers required to generate the remaining 6p eps to add to the 60p to make up the 125p total. Hope that makes sense. Basically I'm sure they've refined the customer acquisition and that's bound to leaf to more than 10% growth. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
24/3/2021 12:04 | They are clearly sandbagging. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they achieve 2023 eps this year. I don't think those forecasts are worth the paper they are printed on tbh. | ryanc106
24/3/2021 12:00 | Management have ALWAYS under promised & over delivered.Quality company, exceptional management.Ignore Finncap, the EPS will be smashed.Just wait until they go International! | investographer
24/3/2021 11:20 | Finncap and possibly the leadership are effectively stating that this is a Covid stock. The alpha for an investor is to safely ascertain whether they are correct or not. Just a quick correction to long&short, it is the EPS they are saying 125.4 not the turnover. Which has actually just made me think of something so Im glad I spotted your turnover error. Finncap are effectively reiterating 125.4 for FY21 with a month to go. That's a material call with so little time to go (five weeks tops). So...extrapolating that. Either the leadership have advised them this as an expecation with five weeks to go or Finncap havent asked them to reconfirm for FY21 when they telegraphed FY22 and FY23. We shall find out in less than three months whether there is poor communication between Finn Cap and Company or whether this was a Covid stock. So you then wonder what offer they turned down in the FPS? If they are going to smash these targets then ignore anything FinnCap ever says. Those look to be the options unless Ive missed something. | this tea tastes of chicken
24/3/2021 11:04 | Its BS IMO. No way are they going to do turnover for the year of 125.4 when they have already done 60p. They'll be adding more to eps than that. I'm convinced of it. DYOR of course:) | thelongandtheshortandthetall
24/3/2021 10:59 | So BOTB bring on two quality directors, to help grow the business, and that almost completely destroys its strong growth? | shanklin
24/3/2021 10:38 | The EPS should be growing faster than revenue by this stage so the forecasts below either consist of nothing more than sandbagging or the leadership have advised Finn that they dont believe they can grow the revenue much more than 10%pa in both 2022 and 2023: 2021 EPS forecast 125.4p EPS growth 235.3% PER 27.11 PEG 0.12 2022 EPS forecast 143.1p EPS growth 14.1 % PER 23.76 PEG 1.68 2023 EPS forecast 165.5p EPS growth 15.7% PER 20.54 PEG 1.31 | this tea tastes of chicken

24/3/2021 10:05 | Finncap update; "...The group has announced a broadening and strengthening of the board through two new appointments. We introduce an additional two years of forecast and raise our target price to £31" | pob69
24/3/2021 09:14 | Bought back in today. Now I can be happy again when I see the ads on YouTube. :) | thelongandtheshortandthetall
23/3/2021 15:24 | Look good appointments imo and fit well into the strategic plan. I think it's pretty clear what Will & Rupert are trying to do with BOTB now. Next few years could see them turn into a HUGE brand. | ryanc106
23/3/2021 08:25 | Good to see them tightening up on the governance aspects and strengthening the breadth of the leadership table. On the Oakvale dude, I wonder what is meant by "before, during......." in relation to the recent FSP. By that I mean "before".....was he instrumental in bringing the FSP in as a concept to the existing Boards attention to see what could be teased out? There's a few angles there to consider there but one thing is for sure, their profile is about to be raised to the next level or they are looking ahead two or three years to corporate activity. Can anyone confirm if Octopus are still a holder, as I saw it the only institutional holder of any size was them and they were in for both their funds pretty early? | this tea tastes of chicken
23/3/2021 07:39 | "Daniel Burns ...focusing on venture capital and international mergers and acquisitions. He has sat on the advisory boards of a number of the largest gaming companies." International mergers and acquisitions. | farnesbarnes
23/3/2021 07:35 | Looks like another positive step with the appointment of the two new Directors... | peart
16/3/2021 15:11 | If it reaches £1k my holding will be worth £7.5 mil haha! Sadly I don't think that's a possibility. £100 definitely is though and it could get there in short order imo | ryanc106
16/3/2021 11:32 | Should BOTB reach a £1000/share, I agree that a share split would be reasonable. Sadly, this is not a prediction :-) | shanklin
16/3/2021 11:17 | I don’t think a stock split would make any difference Peart. The shares are so tightly held and this would make no difference to the free float | ryanc106
16/3/2021 07:21 | Good earnings in June and a cracking FWD eps estimate and I wouldn't be surprised if that 10000 share batch becomes 100000 shares later this year after a 10 for 1 share split. Just a hunch, based upon what often happens with other UK based companies, and as suggested before. Obviously management would decide... | peart

11/3/2021 07:33 | You can expect a Trading Statement shortly after the closure of the 30.4.2021 year end and the publication of the Annual Report is made available in July as you state. AGM is usually in Sep and they update on Trading that day. | this tea tastes of chicken
10/3/2021 23:55 | Does anyone know when the next annual report is ?. I've checked the financial calendar and all I can see is 30th April 2021 Next Year End June 2021 Next Preliminary Announcement Does this mean it will be on the 30th April or will it be June ? Last year's annual report was 7th July 2020. Thanks | arshadte |
