When do you think we will know how much Lehmans settlement will cost and when will we have to pay?

I recon £4-5B

Wilba - you cant compare that last fall below 100p with this, barc is just waiting on news and is pricing in the low revenue. so i give it a month for a turnaround and back up to plus 350p

Wilba, things are different now though.

If this was Lloyds or RBS, i'd understand, but this is a bank making far larger profit then Standard Chartered Bank, yet has a lower market cap. It even has a lower cap then Lloyds!

I keep banging on about it but the value is right here.

Just because Investment banking revenue is lower, the share price is weak.

But what about an improvement to 4th quarter that Bloomberg say investment banks are enjoying.

Certainly not being priced here.

Sm8. I told myself that as it hit a 99p on the way down last time.

Currency is out of date. Somethings gotta give.

Apple and coms

Coms' first iPhone application that enables customers to manage their Coms
account has been well received by customers. The knowledge gained has helped
Coms to develop its first telecoms iPhone application that is currently being
tested by Apple and will be launched in the New Year. This will allow customers
to place calls directly from an iPhone over the Coms network, and will reduce
mobile phone and roaming charges for our customers

Strange for Somnus, today looks (at the moment), like a no trade day, FTSE above R1 and approaching R2.

Yesterday the distance between R1 to PP to S1 was so big that Ftse didn't touch buy or sell, today the gap between R1 to PP to S1 is so small that Ftse goes past R1 too easily
