17/11/2010 21:51 | yes, times have changed now it me that's bullish lol | jon827
17/11/2010 21:43 | I just checked the competition entries and see Montyhedge was in for 355p - changed his tune recently eh? I don't think Jon287 is in danger from me (417)- how optimistic we all were. | the juggler
17/11/2010 21:39 | Jon - Of course you are eligible, but I have to be honest and say that I sincerely hope you don't win! | kenbachelor
17/11/2010 21:19 | Ken... even tho iv not traded barc for a while I trust im still eligible for the end of year prize? just giving you a heads up I would like Jennifer Love Hewitt this year (Sandra Bullock looking a bit old now days) and a week in Rome Italy if that's ok :) | jon827
17/11/2010 17:53 | No nothing today as you will see in the header. The idea of increasing the trade size to guarantee the profit per day was dropped some time back when I transferred from the banks to the FTSE. Now I'm using a far bigger initial trade size and only increasing it to recover losses. | kenbachelor
17/11/2010 17:37 | Ken have I missed a post, you used to increase the target after a loss or no trade day (to get back on your projected profit track). Tomorrows target is only £366. Nothing opened today did it? | robertfaulkner
17/11/2010 17:16 | Philip - I can't see any real rises on the horizon for banks at the moment, so I've given up buying shares. I am wondering whether to put a few more £k into my spread-betting on the FTSE though. | kenbachelor
17/11/2010 17:05 | Monty i like the pink shirt, when did you get out, man your funny... | jibba_jabba
17/11/2010 17:03 | Ken, well that as clear as mud as suggested in the note. Thanks, thinking of putting a few quid in to improve my average I do hold 5k at 56p but 5k at £4.80. What do you think? risk another 5k? philip | philipmidgley
17/11/2010 16:50 | 275p was support, now 275p is resistance, I see 255p easily if the Ireland trouble gathers speed. | montyhedge
17/11/2010 16:47 | Philipmidgley - If you look carefully, you will see the letters UT against them. It means Uncrossing Trade and if you want to know more click the FAQ link in the header. | kenbachelor
17/11/2010 16:43 | At the death someone bought 3.8m shares and 19m RBS. Can someone answer me a question, as soon as the markets close, very large trades go through after hours, Why? these trades are in the millions. thanks | philipmidgley
17/11/2010 15:08 | Whhooosshh ! | wenlynn
17/11/2010 11:38 | Strange day for Somnus, since 8:07 5666 to 11:06 5687 and now, the FTSE has been stuck in this 20 point range. I suppose after 100+ swing on Tue we should be pleased. Doesn't look like Somnus will strike long 5714 or short 5648. I wonder if this would be the first time neither IG's Order to Open has opened? | robertfaulkner
17/11/2010 11:20 | KenBachelor - 16 Nov'10 - 19:18 - 654 of 655 Regarding the opening price @ 08:01 - just when I thought we had that element nicely covered. I guess even if we had the open as seen by addventurer, I think the price was moving too quickly to place the trade. So on less volatile days the quirk with IG charts would have less impact. | capricious
17/11/2010 06:21 | Exactly, i mentioned this to my broker when he suggested buying these c290p; he seemed to have forgotten that there is a problem here and in Iberia just because it hadn't been in the news for a while. Personally i think it is a German conspiracy to lower the Euro fot their exports; their PM Started this latest panick by opening her Gob. | philo124
17/11/2010 06:08 | I see the latest analysis puts british bank exposure to Ireland at over £222Bn. Of course the country won't be allowed to fail but the expectation that the UK will be a major contributor to any bailout won't help sentiment. | psolomons
16/11/2010 16:40 | haha , Death by Donut , i just watched the video, loved it lol, great way of explaining things, | andysandy
16/11/2010 16:07 | The Ben Bernank DbD | death by donut
16/11/2010 15:57 | Funny. :-)) | freddie ferret
16/11/2010 12:44 | if we stay above 266p then we should be ok. | sm8
16/11/2010 08:34 | I fear we will see 250 before we see 300 again... | eisler
15/11/2010 17:37 | give it a couple of weeks it will start moving up im sure | andysandy |
