09/11/2010 07:02 | Profits up. Divi 1p. Tier 1 is 10%. Net asset value per share 418p. | druid2
08/11/2010 21:47 | my take - likely to surprise to the upside as the doomsters have overstated their position retail and business banking - bad debts down, barclaycard improved also with lower bad debts investment banking down - but not as much as feared - and september already showing an improvement and usa QE likely to help future investment banking outlook slow improvement .... this is still a profitable bank despite what some might want you to believe and no late sell off in either UK or USA - so major holders are still holding | pjw956
08/11/2010 21:14 | There's a gap to close at 280. | thetatrader

08/11/2010 18:51 | Smurf - I agree with you regarding the dividend but alas it should be more to encourage the so called pension funds to invest. The Board hopefully will take this aspect of BARC on board but I have my doubts; so we will trot along as we have for the past two years receiving a paltry return for our investment. | roadwalker
08/11/2010 17:11 | I think a drop in revenue is now priced in. Impariment should be improved this quarter as they wrote off Spain losses last quarter. I won't hold my breath for an increased final divi announcement. | smurfy2001
08/11/2010 16:46 | all quite here..... I am in favour of lower supports to be met before 339, 345 is met. 282 is in main the support to look for now with 278.87 next followed by 265 and 255 as critical. A daily close below 256.5 followed by a daily close below 232.25 spells trouble! doubt it will go there! May just test the critical support if it goes down tomorrow.... imho | mj19
08/11/2010 16:44 | can barc surprise us tomorrow? lets hope so.... | sm8
08/11/2010 16:15 | Thinking of shorting for tomorrow but not sure what hedging long to take - don't fancy my usual HSBC so maybe Lloyds? | grahamite2
08/11/2010 15:25 | Go Fourth Can't remember word for word, but Barc is a SELL, due to the investment banking arm. Still will know tomorrow. | montyhedge
08/11/2010 15:22 | what does it say in the magazine | go fourth and multiply
08/11/2010 15:07 | Just seen the sell recommendation for Barc in Share Magazine, I agree, I see 255p coming. | montyhedge

08/11/2010 10:08 | At least Cameroon doesn`t talk like an extra out of a Rab C Nesbitt episode. | rumordoomer |
