Thanks Wenlynn. I had sort of thought of switching to the brown side maximillian. Perhaps 370 will be the catalyst or maybe pederast.

At 52 ..you should be your own man...and not take notice of other men...

POOR men are never popular with the girls..so at 370 you will need a boyfriend..

A man made me short this. He said if I did I would make loads and loads of money and that girls would like me. But it has gone up a bit since I bought it. I am scared. What if it goes over £3. Maybe I will not be popular with girls. I am 52

. . . Barc is a SELL, due to the investment banking arm.
Still will know tomorrow.

Add: I anticipated 296p earlier and didn't sell at 293p as I should have, but it will get there I suspect. US futures are turning positive.

Now, if you want a speculative thrill in this sector, sell your BARC at 296p and buy BKIR....:)

volume great so far, might go up whole day!

A very astute comment kamukak, the volume suggests a great tug-of-war between shorters who have been winning here for a while and the commonsense attitude towards the quarterly update that is positive.

Never forget this isn't owned by HMG...and it is therefore best positioned to emerge strongly into 2011. The markets and value investors after the share price has been hammered from 350p know this and will continue to buy the stock long.

Results not bad ? It depends on whether you are a banker or a shareholder. Press seem to be picking up on increase in bonuses in division where loss is made.

Results not too bad excepting the impairments.

Certainly above all the scaremongering that's been chasing these down.

barc looks strong, recent fall in share price has priced most bad news, therefore, i think a steady rise towards 320p.

Why spend money on revamping branches, most transactions are completed online. If they have to spend money move their cust serv and fraud dept back to the uk

People have you noticed how much money barclays are spending on refurbishing their branches, but i would say money well spent because branches really look stylish and apart.
