09/11/2010 12:57 | Fair value ..is only a perception,,planted by those, who wish you to think that....when it was 47p...nobody was talking about 420!!!!! | maximillian1
09/11/2010 12:56 | Thanks Wenlynn. I had sort of thought of switching to the brown side maximillian. Perhaps 370 will be the catalyst or maybe pederast. | volsung
09/11/2010 12:54 | fair value is now 420p | rainfall
09/11/2010 12:47 | Volsung At 52 ..you should be your own man...and not take notice of other men... POOR men are never popular with the girls..so at 370 you will need a boyfriend.. | maximillian1
09/11/2010 12:46 | volsung, Montyhedge likes you so it's not all bad. | wenlynn
09/11/2010 12:43 | A man made me short this. He said if I did I would make loads and loads of money and that girls would like me. But it has gone up a bit since I bought it. I am scared. What if it goes over £3. Maybe I will not be popular with girls. I am 52 | volsung
09/11/2010 12:34 | sm8 looking strong...needs to be above 296 then we start..cooking on gas... | maximillian1
09/11/2010 12:00 | barc waiting for dow to open and looking strong. | sm8
09/11/2010 11:02 | "Yesterday's Man" montyhedge - 8 Nov'10 - 15:25 - 63476 of 63524 . . . Barc is a SELL, due to the investment banking arm. Still will know tomorrow. | wenlynn
09/11/2010 10:59 | Add: I anticipated 296p earlier and didn't sell at 293p as I should have, but it will get there I suspect. US futures are turning positive. Now, if you want a speculative thrill in this sector, sell your BARC at 296p and buy BKIR....:) Topicel | topicel
09/11/2010 10:57 | kamukak - 9 Nov'10 - 08:59 - 63506 of 63522 volume great so far, might go up whole day! A very astute comment kamukak, the volume suggests a great tug-of-war between shorters who have been winning here for a while and the commonsense attitude towards the quarterly update that is positive. Never forget this isn't owned by HMG...and it is therefore best positioned to emerge strongly into 2011. The markets and value investors after the share price has been hammered from 350p know this and will continue to buy the stock long. Topicel | topicel
09/11/2010 10:33 | 370 all the way...you have to get some blood into it...first then as always the excitment fades.... | maximillian1
09/11/2010 10:27 | LOL - tell me when the press have not picked up on Bonuses? They go on ad infinitum to feed the plebs. | isis
09/11/2010 10:10 | Results not bad ? It depends on whether you are a banker or a shareholder. Press seem to be picking up on increase in bonuses in division where loss is made. | salisj
09/11/2010 10:00 | Fools gold | sir ramsey
09/11/2010 09:57 | Results not too bad excepting the impairments. Certainly above all the scaremongering that's been chasing these down. | isis
09/11/2010 09:52 | barc looks strong, recent fall in share price has priced most bad news, therefore, i think a steady rise towards 320p. | sm8
09/11/2010 09:46 | Deeply dissapointing results - seems like they just can't get it together | eisler
09/11/2010 09:33 | Webcast: 1st quarter next year (Lehmens case). No comment on impact if they lose case. | smurfy2001
09/11/2010 09:29 | Why spend money on revamping branches, most transactions are completed online. If they have to spend money move their cust serv and fraud dept back to the uk | sir ramsey
09/11/2010 09:23 | People have you noticed how much money barclays are spending on refurbishing their branches, but i would say money well spent because branches really look stylish and apart. | kamukak
09/11/2010 09:20 | Webcast: %31 reduced impairments | smurfy2001 |
