28/11/2017 08:41 | The stress tests aren't what you think they are imo. An investor might read results as "hoorah. A healthy business here". The truer meaning: "regulators are nailing these businesses such that they will never, never ever return to their former glories facilitated a macro environment and regulatory landscape such as they once operated within and enjoyed in the past". (imo). The boomer generation holds on to shares in companies like BARC because it used to be different, and the price used to be higher. They're investing on past outlook and not forward outlook imo (otherwise they wouldn't be holding). The market has demonstrably well and truly understood this message, and has adjusted sector market caps (including BARC) as a consequence, yet even this week we've had posters here asking for clearer direction from BARC. It is being shout from the rooftops imo. Clear as day, and Boomers should adjust their hearing aids imo. | manics | |
