Shabang..as if by magic..Monday.. BARC now 189p.. 5 p higher
Is it realy that simple?

Capeview - agree with much you say. The pace of change can be different on the continent; more an evolution. On the question of cheap labour it is important that minimum wages are used within the country where the work is carried out and not the country of origin.

Partly agree capeview - but as you say it becomes more difficult to make changes from the outside.

Alphorn, you can also look at it like this. Without the baby throwing it's toys out of the Pram, would you have ever taken notice that there was something wrong or just carried on as usual, which was happening.

The whole EU thing would have carried on as normal with no change. It's only Brexit happening that it has woken the EU up to change and that there are problems that need to be addressed.

capeview - your last sentence says it all. It is like a baby throwing its toys out of the pram. It does not have them any more.

rburtn, you can also say Two thirds voted to leave. Works both ways.

The ones that didn't or chose not to vote have no say in the matter. They had there chance and chose not to use there Voting Rights, so whether we leave or remain, they can't complain on the outcome, much like any vote that ever happens.

It's like anything, unless you take part you can't be a part of the party.

My word, there are some vile, ignorant and illiterate contributors to this board. If they think we are more democratic than the EU, they simply don't understand the meaning of the word. As for Brexit, the costs to the UK taxpayer of providing tax shelters for the Telegraph, Mail, Express, Sun, Times, not to mention the Rees-Mogg and Redwood dynasties has only just got hugely bigger. In 60 years of my voting in the UK, only one has counted, the rest have been in rotten boroughs where the result has been pre-determined. Two thirds of the electorate did not vote leave, some democracy!

"Out of the EU to be able to control who comes to live here".

..........rather like the 50% of immigration that has nothing to do with the EU.

Wake up!

That will all magically be controlled after EU exit.

Sad people these Brexiteers.
Headless Chickens.
May is desperate to get a deal otherwise the country will go bankcrupt!

Yet clowns like Boris, Gove and a few others want to come out and its irrelevant for them if the country colapses.
How stupid can you be?
EU can absorb all our exports or near enough, trading with 300million people and yet wants to go and trade with the US which just put a tax on Bombadier of over 200% tax.

ABANDON BREXIT, DO NOT KILL THE UK ECONOMY
