Still no sign of activity in transferring out my ISA, Only thing thats happened is that 90% of the cash has been ring fenced asa pending withdrawal. how many more weeks will it take I wonder..... 10 weeks so far

Blue tooth.
Two ISAs successfully transferred over to Hargreaves Lansdown. One market master account which I sold 80% out of transferred over.
Still one marketmaster to go. the ISAS took 3 months

I am now thinking in terms of compensation.
I have heard a Hamper and £250 has been offered to others
I have spent hours and hours on the telephone and eventually asked Alistair Thaw to ring me through Linked In.
it was worth a try because although he didn't answer, suddenly things began to happen. I>E a lady rang me (her name is in my file at home) who seemed to move things on more quickly.
I wish you luck and speedy transfer.

HL now have over 1 million clients.............and they seem to be coping VERY well.

Smart Investor

Has anyone completed a move yet? my trading account move to AJB has completed but my ISA is still only half way. All of my holdings show on the AJB site but some unit trusts still show in the Barclays account as well. In addition the cash element only shows on the Barclays site. Does anyone know what happens next?

That might seem like a pretty big question, but one answer could be "to provide people the opportunity through work to become richer".

What, though, if the economy fails in that endeavour?

If the system leaves you - despite all your efforts - worse off in December than you were the previous January?

Or worse off now than you were a decade ago?

It was Lord Adair Turner, the former head of the Low Pay Commission, who put it succinctly.

"The UK over the last 10 years has created a lot of jobs, but today real wages are below where they were in 2007," he told me earlier this year.

"That is not the capitalist system delivering its promise that over a decade or so it will raise all boats, and it is a very fundamental issue."

Barclays PLC (ADR) (NYSE: BCS) shares have underperformed the EU bank sector by 29 percent in 2017, with the stock stuck below $10.

The underperformance has prompted Bank of America Merrill Lynch to upgrade the shares of Barclays by two notches.

The Analyst

BofA Merrill Lynch analyst Michael Helsby upgraded shares of Barclays from Underperform to Buy.

The Thesis

The reflation exuberance of the second half of 2016 reversed in 2017, with the bank's investment banking business suffering from low volatility and some self-imposed mishaps, Helbsy said in a Monday note. (See Helbsy's track record here.)

The analyst said he believes the British bank's low earnings expectations and depressed share price make for a buying opportunity.

The Price Action

Barclays shares are down over 9 percent year-to-date. The stock closed Monday's session at $9.97, up 2.15 percent.

Based on historic returns we think it is reasonable to assume that greater productive assets will drive revenues higher. With volatility back at lows, we think it also reasonable to expect a pick-up in volumes too," analysts wrote in a note on Monday.
