Wei Dongxu, a Beijing-based military analyst, told the Global Times that the newly released video featuring an aircraft similar to US' Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit suggests the plane is likely the H-20.

"This could mean that China has achieved a generation-leaping development in bomber planes and become in possession of a world-class strategic stealth bomber," Dongxu said.

With a range of 5,300 miles and internal weapon bays, which could carry hypersonic missiles, the H-20 would likely have striking capabilities to hit many US bases in the Pacific Ocean.

Courtesy of BofA is a map of US military bases and presence in the Pacific Ocean and, specifically, in proximity to China.

"It looks like the Northrop Grumman B-2 spirit cos they stole the plans to the B-2 spirit!"

HFEL is looking ok to hold divi. They haven't dipped into reserves as of yet and I believe they even grew the reserves.

I had a spot of cash lurking, so I thought that I might add it to my growing Inv. Trust holdings, but most look as if they'll be struggling to hold their divis this year, never mind increasing them, and yields aren't what they were last year - prices having risen.

In the end, I added to my BA. holding at 491'ish. Looks as if they'll be increasing their divi this year and next, and, regrettably, defence isn't going to go out of fashion.

I always think January is the longest month and I have a feeling this one is going to drag on and on. Mid Feb for the announcement, think I'll hibernate!

Looks like we'll have to wait until the Feb'21 announcement for the share price to rise, and for the wider numpty traders to realise that BAE has out performed other sectors and is meeting pre-covid budget expectations if not exceeding them.

So frustrating at the moment to watch the FTSE rise and BAE stay the same for very little reason.

A key milestone for the UK's Future Combat Air System programme has not yet been met.

The UK MoD combat air acquisition programme team failed to submit its Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Outline Business Case (OBC) in line with an original target of the end of 2020.

BAE Systems demonstrates agility, customer focus and commitment to protecting warfighters

BAE Systems received a $4 million contract from the U.S. Navy to conduct a quick-turnaround demonstration of a new radio frequency countermeasure (RFCM) system for the P-8A Poseidon. The pod-mounted RFCM system is a leading-edge, lightweight, high-power system that will add a new self-protection capability to this next-generation U.S. Navy aircraft.

In collaboration with UAVTEK, we have developed a nano “Bug” drone and delivered the first 30 units to the British Army, which has put it through its paces as part of a trial.
The Bug is a nano-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) weighing 196g – similar to the weight of a smartphone – with 40 minute battery life and a 2km range. It boasts a stealthy low visual profile and the ability to fly even in strong winds of more than 50mph. It was the only nano-UAV able to cope with the uncompromising weather during a recent Army Warfighting Experiment (AWE) event hosted by the Ministry of Defence’s Future Capability Group.
