BROKERWATCH SAP initiated with 'equal-weight' at Lehman Brothers, tgt 40 eur

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Lehman Brothers has initiated shares in SAP with an ''equal-weight'' rating and a 40 eur target price, representing 14 pct upside to the current share price.
In a note to clients, the broker said SAP is sporting a positive outlook in a tough environment, and it sees limited risks to the software giant''s earnings, should macroeconomic conditions deteriorate.
It added that it forecasts a return to growth in 2008 and 2009 at 14 pct and 16 pct respectively, but warned that much positive newsflow is unlikely as investors focus on US enterprise IT spending levels.

caution is the key here gang, AXO is a super stock so i will too jump back in when the time is right, i am happy to lose a bit of upside before.

morning all............despite the drop in the US lastnight it's now dropped 10% as mentioned last week..........also coincides with a support level at 12,800 and also a lot of stocks hitting support levels too now today..........Axon being one of them.............

US futures are up over 100 points at the mo so hopefully now the 10% has been hit computers chance tac............good cheer there for BARC holders btw...........

bloody Americans again ruining an otherwise decent day..................a screen of blue all day now half red.........

what does that mean mr?? not a term I'm familiar with.............ringer........market forces dear chap (and mr offloading a few)...........Panmure may not have reiterated without maybe making an enquiring phone call to see if all is well at mill..............no doubt once the markets see evidence the subprime stuff is contained then things should move on................

look this has always been a low vol stock, lately been very low and not helping things, if you can ride this downturn out you will be very well rewarded imo...

i cannot sit here and get kicked in the teath every day however....

mm's gathering all this lovely stock up to sell back to you at £8+

I know it's a bit early in the day still, but the US seems to be enjoying being above 13,000...................retail sales sound like they were decent enough over their holiday.............fingers crossed.............

Has anyone else seen the plus sign (0.05!) against Axo?. Had to check it twice to make sure it was true! Is this the turnaround we have been waitin for?

morning all..........good weekend??????????.......nearly the 13,000 for the Dow on Friday then..............can sense it'll be a good week this week.........swathes of blue to start the day and set the tone hopefully...........US futures even up and not a sign of the early morning drop for Axon that's been happening lately..............

could be on the turn..............L2 for NRK is interesting..............

The fact that few people want to sell gives the MMs plenty of scope for manipulating the share price up or down. I think that when they decide to move the share price up again, they will release a few profit takers who are uncomfortable with the current drop in price. Other than that it will take a few lost contracts to cause a real fall in value.

Has anyone checked the institutional shareholdings lately?.... Seems to me that with the majority of shares tied up between them and the directors the share price can be easily manipulated.

yes, so they haven't got long.............strange how we're on that list, there's plenty worse.........MPH for a start.............ah well...............just 75 more points required from the DOW...........
