closed my ftse long, well happy with that over 2 days, not going to be greedy and also want to judge the US mood before looking to hold indicies over weekends..........US futures are up...........and the UK going strong............

Global Stocks, U.S. Futures Rise; CNP, Volvo, GM Pace Gains

Nov. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Global stocks advanced as investors speculated a four-week sell-off may be overdone given the outlook for earnings growth, while gains in metal prices lifted mining shares. U.S. index futures increased.

CNP Assurances SA led insurers higher in Europe after Les Echos reported that Axa SA may bid for the French company. Volvo AB, the world's second-biggest truckmaker, climbed after saying sales increased. General Motors Corp. and Ford Motor Co. gained in Germany. China Mobile Ltd. and Cnooc Ltd. helped Hong Kong's index to its first advance in three days after billionaire Lee Shau-kee said he bought shares.

The MSCI World Index added 0.3 percent to 1,551.82 as of 10:50 a.m. in London. Futures on the Standard & Poor's 500 Index gained 0.8 percent to 1,429. U.S. markets were closed yesterday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

``There's room for a mini rally as the correction was excessive,'' said Luca Peviani, who helps manage the equivalent of about $1.4 billion of hedge funds at P&G Sgr in Rome. ``Waning subprime fears could lead to higher valuations in the short term.''

far from the truth maestro.............yes a blot, but a balanced portfolio and a long on the ftse (will close soon before the yanks open) means all good.........I see you missed getting in at the bottom for CPI, and also your QXL short must be hurting..........lol, what were you calling one day??? £10 then yesterday £13..............

seems to find its level every morning and stays there all day, shows no sign of recovery..... and the footsy enjoying a rally this week into the bargain.

don't know if company poicy to issue statements, i'v never know it in my time.now would not be a bad time to reveal a contract win or secured ect

think back to monday this was one of few gainers [ 10p ] on my monitor when everthing else was well down, vol was very high 500k.... was this a significant day for some reason or other.....

thing is as i see it nothing has changed since sep when it was over £9 so.....

brokers say true value £10 ect ect...... chart looks a mess now

The share price has fallen over 25% in a short time. This is a big drop by any standards...isn't it time the company made a statement whether or not they know of any particular reason for this or can we expect a bulletin confirming that an institutional holder has disposed of a large holding?

big downturn this by anybodies reconing, years ago this used to tick up nicely 8 or 10 points every week slowly but surely.....oh for them days again....

morning all,

just seems to be more monies leaving the market than entering at the moment,
with continual drops accross the board.

However AXO still remains a solid company, i am out of all positions at the moment but simply monitering with a few shorts here & there,
AXO is certainly not a good shorters target imo,

morning all.............blimey mr they're squeezing you a bit............I see our resident muppet has been saying things like Axon party over on different threads............baseless twaddle, knows no more than the rest of us...........but people willing to listen.........lol...........

right then yes, back to begining of the year levels when the targets were £7...........lol..............

just waiting for things to settle as this one has been overdone far far far out of proportion to the rest of the market............
