At first glance these results look excellent company is growing fast and compounding very well, I don't see a lot of downside from a decent div and 20 pct growth year after year with everything baked in on long term leases ...

Added today. IMV the market has missed impact of financial update on 1/7/2019. Average cost of debt reduced to 4.6% (2018: 5.0%). With loans of $963M at 311218 this means profit⬆$2.9M - with 2018 PBT of $18.9M, for 2019 this is a 15% increase annualised.😉✔ DYOR

Aircraft leasing company Avation said it expected its annual lease rental revenue to rise by more than 20%.

Lease rental revenue for the year through June was seen rising to $117.7m, up from $97.6m on-year.

At 30 June, the company's fleet comprised 48 aircraft, up from 38 on-year.

'Avation will continue to focus on growing the fleet and adding new airline customers in the coming financial year,' it said.

'The company is currently assessing aircraft for acquisition, in addition to the scheduled deliveries of new ATR 72-600 aircraft.'

TODAY'S TRADING UPDATE.

THEY HAVE REDUCED THE COST OF THEIR AVERAGE DEBT BY A WHOPPING 8%.

THAT SAVING IN THEIR INTEREST BILL IS MEGA AND GOOD EVIDENCE THAT THE GROWTH AND REPUTATION OF AVATION ARE ALLOWING THEM TO DRIVE SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER FUNDING COSTS.

THAT'S A BIG KICKER FOR THEIR BUSINESS MODEL.

AVERAGE DEBT COST HAS NOW FALLEN TO 4.6% FROM 5% LAST YEAR.


"The Company's leasing business is anticipated to report record revenue for the year ended 30 June 2019. "

Avation sold an older aircraft today at premium to book value. That's good to help keep the fleet young.

Yep, buy for the ramp-up... and, then again, that ramp is going to continue to double every 3 years into a market capacity hundreds of times the current market cap.
Seems like a tidy proposition to me.

Yes. That may be the case. Provided that you pay. What is it ? £20 in this case??

But it's the way you go about trying to hook in new members and sell your services.

Frequently providing links to interesting-sounding articles or agm reports - only to find they are member-only/paywall articles. Ditto events.

These bulletin boards are FULLY INTENDED to be an open exchange of FREE information.

You and the Share Soc use them primarily and repeatedly to sell services, attract new members and for COMMERCIAL purposes.

You give nothing for free. You pretend to be share-holder orientated but that always comes with a cost.

I have been to several excellent Avation presentations, for example, which are all free to shareholders. Yours is the only one where you have to pay.

I shall, out of principle , not be attending this, nor any other Share Soc presentation.

I do not think it is fundamentally correct that a shareholder or investor, actual or prospective, should be required to pay to hear a company give a talk which they have a financial stake in.
