25/9/2018 11:55 | Jeff requested a meeting to buy my CLA shares. I stated the "Takeover Code" Jeff does not want to buy them anymore. Still sends Richard to my manor: does not say Hello. | russman
24/9/2018 12:55 | There is a maintenance & parts agreement between AVAP & CLA. Same as the shareholder agreement. Jeff is out of his league on A320s plus. Look at the track record on CLA. Cannot do the maths or the admin either. | russman
22/9/2018 07:11 | UKGeorge, the BV of that airplane was 48,745 as of 30 June, so the gain on the sale won't be that large | gold panda
21/9/2018 12:58 | i didn't say they were mature. i said they were "maturing into" being a serious player. I stand by that. They are a GROWTH COMPANY. a cursory look at their fleet and income stats highlight their very impressive growth from a low base over the last few years if you want mature aviation lessors, there are many others. look elsewhere. If you want growth share in the aircraft leasing sector, an Asian domiciled lessor in the highly regarded country/jurisdiction of Singapore and with a strong reputation in several burgeoning Far East countries with new world-class auditors, Avation look like a great place to be. from little acorns, great oaks do grow. and Avation certainly have demonstrated impressive, steady and reliable growth on all fronts for several years. with increasing access to further funding at lower rates, it seems to me that Avation are likely on the cusp on a step-change in terms of their size, asset base, fleet and revenues. Good Luck All. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
21/9/2018 12:33 | Interesting observation re the Auditors. Shame that they were far less than forthcoming regarding the company's response to Key Audit matters the previous audit company demanded. Seems Avation 'got a pass'. I presume E&Y were really appointed for the credit rating agencies... It was certainly not Avation's intention last year to get E&Y. As I mentioned in my previous post, the aircraft being sold is almost certainly the last delivered Vietjet aircraft. Hopefully realising a profit of $2-3m You also have to remember Avation are practically the smallest leasing company out there. More like a baby than a 'mature' business. | carcosa
21/9/2018 11:36 | 1. Thank you. 2. Good RNS this morning. Avation submitting itself to the rigours of a world-class firm of auditors, Ernst and Young, adds another layer of comfort and investor reassurance. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
21/9/2018 11:06 | I watched these guys present yesterday, very good presentation interesting company not something I've invested in before. One interesting point he made was that they are going to sell one of there 8 mid size planes this year and that it will be sold for a decent junk (think it was $50M) more than its book value. Which will have two implications, a nice lump of cash and a potential revaluation of the fleet of planes by analysts. So the book value should be a lot higher. | ukgeorge
21/9/2018 09:46 | Anything interesting from the One2One Forum? | gold panda
20/9/2018 12:26 | New ALL-TIME-HIGH for AVAP ATH for AVAP. And deservedly so, on the back of great figures released earlier this month. Fully expectant of more to come. The steady growth and increasing market penetration combined with growing market respect by many highly regarded airlines is not to be underestimated. Avation is maturing into a well-regarded and well-managed serious player in aircraft leasing. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
14/9/2018 10:53 | Avation will be presenting to investors at the Proactive One2One Forum taking place on Thursday 20th September in London from 6pm. For details and registration, click here: | aim_trader
10/9/2018 16:39 | Thanks Carcosa 4 times daily volume today, no apparent sellers so could see a break out | roman2325
07/9/2018 09:11 | Listened to it online. Available on their website. * Avation expecting a 'fully priced, shareholder and credit rating worthy sale of an aircraft to be completed end of the year. Given the valuation of that aircraft is in the prelims it is almost certainly one of the VietJet A320's. In fact given that its credit rating positive it really has to be a VietJet aircraft. * Avation to bid for AirBaltic 2019 A220-300 deliveries. * US Sanctions on ATR's to Iran left 10 orphaned aircraft so will take a few months for those to be absorbed into the fleet. I work it out that if no further orders are received (which we know we can expect) then next years revenue will be up ~18% to $128m | carcosa
07/9/2018 09:01 | Did anyone dial into the call yesterday? | roman2325
06/9/2018 10:29 | So why are WHI forecasting an EPS reduction in 2019 from 2018 - I agree with your point. | harrogate
06/9/2018 10:18 | The hidden gravy is that by the time the December Interims are announced it will be the first full year of revenue from the wide-bodied aircraft. That will make a huge difference to the comparatives and finance ratios. | carcosa
06/9/2018 08:14 | Any thoughts - this is a beat against WHI EPS forecast and also a good increase in dividend. NAV now at £2.76. Not sure why but WHI have EPS barely changed for 2019. They retain the £3 price target. While that looks high I am not sure why these shouldn't be over £2.50 short term and head to £3 with another year of NAV increase in 2019. They seem to be delivering what they say. | harrogate
06/9/2018 08:12 | Results all look pretty good, nice nav increase and next few years of profits and divs are baked in with the long lease profile, we really need Russman back to tell us how bad they really are .... | catsick
03/9/2018 12:38 | Expectant and hopefully confident on great results from Avation on Thursday 6th. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
14/8/2018 11:20 | Thanks for the comment, Roman. | carcosa
14/8/2018 10:20 | As a disclaimer I never did it myself, just "what I heard" | roman2325
14/8/2018 10:20 | I used to be a market maker, from memory it was 5 days if over 75 times NMS but that was 10 years ago. Easiest way around it was long date the settlement and book it on the wrong ticker, you wont be found out for a few weeks | roman2325
09/8/2018 16:28 | Looks like someone managed to get £1.34m worth of shares according to this Post Trade Deferral Off-Book report. That's about 0.9% of the company. May also be the reason for the 2.6% increase in the share price of late; but I thought such trades were only protected for 48 hours? It's also reported at todays 'buy' price. Could someone, maybe a trader explain the most likely underlying story? | carcosa |
