02/8/2011 22:23 | hard to believe we are back to October 2009 shareprice when we didn,t even have a satellite in the Sky. Now we have Hylas 1 and 2 too follow early next year fully funded. share price at insurance value alone fro Hylas 1 of 3 pounds a share, never mind the asset value of this company with the number of satellite slots that they own. the whole AIM market never mind other markets are getting hammered at the moment. hopefully if the company releases a trading update and any further contract wins we can move north again hopefully. i remember looking into the worst case senario of hylas 1 launch was unsuccessful and was reassured to some extent at the time that it was insured for equivalent of 3 pounds share. just wondering are we being left open for an aggressive takeover. there must be competitors sniffing around at these prices, particularly those with cash and financing available to quickly launch further satellites. strong buy IMO | dougie471

01/8/2011 12:01 | Has anyone heard anything about the proposed main market listing. From an RNS 12th July 2010. "During the next financial year, subject to prevailing market and trading conditions at the time, Avanti intends to make an application to the FSA for the Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for the Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on the Main Market." Im assuming they meant the year just ended 30th June. | colva

01/8/2011 09:32 | Some commented along the lines of "he would wouldn't he" to TW's still rating AVN a strong buy. He does change his recommendation when he see fit. An example of this is SEE which he has now called a sell. | ![]() yorgi
31/7/2011 11:51 | mammon, thx for that. I'm relieved - and encouraged - to hear it. I have to say I don't often look at the website of companies I follow. it's not laziness - it's because usually they contain little info which hasn't been included in RNS or picked up through other coverage like brokers' and analysts reports. I guess I need to review that, particularly for companies like AVN that don't seem to be very communicative. | ![]() backmarker
30/7/2011 19:27 | Good find Mammon. It would help if they publicised things like this. | ![]() sg31 |
