16/2/2013 10:43 | Appreciate all the discussion on this board as a second-time holder. Anyone like kite-flying? Here's one. What about VOD using a bit of spare change in it's back pocket and taking out AVN? That would give it a huge new area(s) of influence and inject much increased prospects of growth across Africa. The forthcoming transfer to the main market will certainly boost the shares. Many investment products do not consider AIM at all, and search for growth only along well trodden paths. Increased visibility and ISA eligibility can only be good for AVN. I've almost talked myself into buying a few more. Off to lie down. | ![]() dozey1

15/2/2013 17:14 | sounds like there should be a full listing in early autumn time if they are choosing advisers, it will take some time to prepare but this sounds a sensible timeframe to me any other views? | ![]() geheimnis2
15/2/2013 17:08 | Check with your broker, but normally you need an AIM stock to be quoted on 2 exchanges. This will all change when AVN moves to FTSE main listing, which is William's/Brackenbur | ![]() 2vdm
15/2/2013 16:58 | Can you buy AVN in an ISA? | ![]() adorling
15/2/2013 16:46 | Yes, will definitely sleep better tonight and dream of Monday morning. | ![]() 2vdm

15/2/2013 12:55 | Good to see positive and strong trading statement. Next real test will be when we get close £4 level again (last seen Jul 2012). | ![]() ttny2004
15/2/2013 12:51 | The jump over £3.00 is probably short covering as they get stopped out. | ![]() waterloo01
15/2/2013 12:47 | Rogk "If EK hasn't started covering his shorts already he is going to be on a losing trade". If he hasn't started covering his shorts already, he'll be filling them .........with the brown stuff!! | ttnyw
15/2/2013 12:42 | My heart bleeds for him - not! :-) | garymott
15/2/2013 12:24 | Someone already confirmed it's not going anywhere near our Satellites.... think it was on the LSE site. Question is, when do we find out what January sales really are in terms of cash? All sounds great in the interims, but when do we see some numbers - surely don;t have to wait the July FY trading update? | anusol
15/2/2013 12:24 | Then I will be back in negative territory (significantly) I guess :-( If I worried about such events then I would never get out of bed in a morning because the probability of slipping and killing myself before reachng the bathroom is higher than the probability of this collision - alot of fatal accidents occur in the home! | garymott
15/2/2013 12:20 | If this astroid knocks out one of their sats what then???? | ![]() mcpaulas
15/2/2013 12:05 | I am pleased that I am back in positive territory (just) when aggregating my SIPP and CFD holdings. Good luck to all you LTHs. Let's hope the tide is finally turning after a very painful 2011 and 2012 :-) | garymott |
