25/7/2017 22:49 | Pathetic-look at UKOG up 700%- not suggesting weve got that far to go but same situ-so overlooked and then everyone will want a slice-mark my words-this uptrend has just started! | mpclag
25/7/2017 19:03 | Copper $2.84/lb (Bloomberg), and an share price of 127p The Dollar has lost -10% to the Euro YTD Copper has gone up inversely +10% from $2.50-$2.75 per pound YTD We don't know the companies position with currency hedging and how this will impact until we get the Q2 financials August/September But none the less it's good to see a stronger share price today albeit still less than the May 2015 consolidation price of 142.5p when we were not making or selling anything so it has some distance yet to go to represent fair value.. Q2 numbers tomorrow would be good to see after today's rally, and hopefully fuel it some more ahead of the FOMC interest rates decision which may or may not support Copper.. Another sign of primary copper supply tightening treatment is refining charges levied by smelters for concentrate declining. TC/RCs paid by mining companies are a good indication of conditions in the spot market and rates have now fallen by 10% from the start of the year to around $80 a tonne. Another big cost saving for us here from Atlantic Copper if their fees trend down with the rest of the smelters competing for concentrate, further adding to our economies of scale and plant tuning for efficiency.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
25/7/2017 18:23 | WTI up 50%...KDNC up 29%...and KRS up 23%...that'll do nicely... | rougepierre
25/7/2017 18:18 | I go with that lankn.... | rougepierre
25/7/2017 18:06 | I would settle for holding the current copper price but with a stronger dollar just to prove this latest uptick isn't just foreign exchange related. | erric
25/7/2017 18:01 | Next stop copper @ $3.00 lb any predictions. I will give it mid Aug. :-) Momentum building here. Lets get those results out...... | iankn73
25/7/2017 17:26 | One of these days we might get a double figure rise (15p would be all of half a pee in real money). Maybe on our quarterly update with a really nice positive forward statement telling the market how much we will be raking in at current cu prices. Would be a bit out of character for our CEO but who knows. | husbod
25/7/2017 15:39 | Well we are expecting news (tomorrow?) and I'm fairly sure we still have at least one II buying and great to see copper shoot through $2.75 Always prefer buying the uptrend! | waterloo01
25/7/2017 15:09 | L2 is 2 vs 2. Not looking like another tick up unless we get some news or some substantial, further buys. But well supported at this bid. | sirmoori
25/7/2017 14:56 | Some nice relatively low level buying. I think we need some chunkier deals to get us really going. The picture on my right is Mr 5k/10k thinking about all the money he has and will have lost as the share price continues its upward trajectory. | husbod
25/7/2017 14:24 | We definitely have a new copper price high for the year now at just under $2.82/lb. Copper chart looks very promising, though I think we're due a pull back from this run up. ATYM's price is now up over 15% from its low a few weeks back and at last seems to be building some momentum. | aldermana
25/7/2017 12:29 | 7k at the offer price. Another little tick up coming? What's L2 looking like someone? | husbod
25/7/2017 12:09 | Copper going nuts recently, what's going on??? | shakeypremis
25/7/2017 12:03 | He is probably Mr 7.5k as well ! | gcpinc
25/7/2017 11:57 | Yes Mr 10k/5k still trying to hold it back ! | gcpinc
25/7/2017 11:37 | Copper nudging towards 2.80 now, when will this share price start to really move? We should be over £2... | bewise2
25/7/2017 11:34 | On the up and up...on volume of well over 100,000...healthy... | rougepierre
25/7/2017 11:28 | Mr 10k still around sadly. Wonder if it is the same person as the 5k seller. | husbod
25/7/2017 11:00 | Exactly waterloo - took Acacia off my watch list over the weekend At least in Spain the rule of law is more strongly embedded (for a few thousand euros) than most of the countries where copper is being extracted. Come on Acamas in you come. | husbod
25/7/2017 10:56 | Relative safe harbour in geopolitical terms. "Tanzania sent Acacia Mining Plc a tax bill equal to almost two centuries worth of the gold producer’s revenue". | waterloo01
25/7/2017 10:42 | Hopefully the house broker has finally done their job and both identified and taken out our seller. Suspect the large II trades from a week back should have largely done that. Time will tell. Edit: copper just hit $2.80. Partly $$ fall driven but more on fundamentals IMO. Every cent adds about 1m EBITDA | waterloo01
25/7/2017 10:30 | Looking at the link up the page, I thought the Feb close was c$2.76... Anyhow...onwards and upwards... | rougepierre
25/7/2017 10:14 | In for a penny in for 5 and 4.5. | erric
25/7/2017 09:45 | Yes Waterloo, I can confidently predict that the cash will be used to for trade debt/PRT expansion! SBT | superbobtaylor |
