13/7/2017 12:13 | Acamas - precisely the point I was making earlier but in a slightly more roundabout way. | husbod
13/7/2017 11:51 | No mention of that elusive EU Grant - they are probably too busy organising their end of session junket (700 bottles of wine etc at the taxpayers' expense). I have made a vow - assuming I am still a shareholder (ie I am still alive) I am going to attend next years AGM. Presumably no-one has raised the grant point today??? | husbod
13/7/2017 11:13 | Also the company will pay of its long standing (inherited) social security debt this quarter. That will add ~€1m profit per quarter going forward. SBT | superbobtaylor
13/7/2017 11:04 | Expansion if they come across something of interest, how will they fund its acquisition? | acamas
13/7/2017 10:41 | We very definitely do not want Astor as a significant shareholder...can you imagine any of the Big 4 agreeing to this? No..I thought not.... | rougepierre
13/7/2017 10:33 | We can but dream CuF | husbod
13/7/2017 10:31 | If you check my posts, I said I would like the production update tomorrow...we need more regular RNSs to sustain the interest... | rougepierre
13/7/2017 10:14 | I don't think you were the people they were referring to when talking about "valued shareholders" . . . Just saying . . . | cufes2
13/7/2017 10:03 | Fine by me too LLB | husbod
13/7/2017 10:02 | Actually, thinking about it would it be beyond the realms of possibility that we could offer equity for debt to Astor although come to think of it it would mean all three of the big "active" shareholders would probably have to give up the proportion necessary to keep their holdings in the same ratio as is. Unless of course Orion really do want to sell in which case they could deal with Astor. Obviously Astor would have to be tied in for a minimum of say three years so they couldn't dump their shares on the market at an early date (or become a Mr 10k a day). Just a thought to throw into the verbal arena. | husbod
13/7/2017 10:00 | #waterloo01, RP was hoping to get some numbers today from the AGM, I suspect it might be next week or week after, it was 25.07.2016 last year with the 6 monthly financials 07.09.2016.. #Husbord, the flywheel is spinning now, we've had 7 months of $2.60 Copper, FY2017 will open up some new opportunities for us, and close off some problems too as our cash position builds and ability to pay for them..! On Alberto as NED to a Gold project.., well I see this as an opportunity to investigate another potential project and slowly explore it's viability with zero risk exposure.. On top of the PRT expansion, and Touro, there was a Zinc project too, and now a Gold 1 in the background. AL was quoted as saying he wants to build a 100,000 Tonne Copper company.. that's fine by me, 220M/lbs at a $1.00 margin from 2020.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
13/7/2017 09:40 | didn't someone say we would get the 1st half production update today? | waterloo01
13/7/2017 09:20 | "Actively focused on further growth activities" eh. Good solid AGM statement which will do nothing for the share price in the near future. Nice to feel valued though (last para). Still working on the basis that the director's buy will have much the same effect as the PMO director's buy had over there yesterday - why would he spend a fair amount of money if he did not have faith in the future of the company. Still interesting times but the statement just reinforces the improbability of dividends any time soon (as our ex-colonials across the pond like to say). I wonder whether there are any ongoing communications with Astor given that the court case is disappearing into the distance. Just thinking that the judge's decision in the first instance rather shackles our ability to spend or raise funds for further acquisitions unless they are provided by shareholders. Which in turn means we can't rule out a rights issue if something irresistible comes up. Indeed, how do we finance the probable increase in our interest in Touro if we are governed by the current Astor position as stated by the judge at first instance. | husbod

12/7/2017 12:59 | ok thanks MDS2028 - is anyone going to the AGM at all and can ask the company for an update? | paduardo
12/7/2017 12:55 | 119 paid.Hardly a big jump.... | shortarm
12/7/2017 11:51 | Only a few available to buy at the current price....Pop soon? | shortarm
12/7/2017 11:38 | paduardo - They promised payment over six months ago, but being the EU they move slowly and inefficiently and prefer to discuss and debate then do nothing. Also they might be tightening their belts knowing the UK isn't going to subsides french farmers in the next two years. no update from the company | mds2028
