25/7/2017 09:42 | By my calculations, using $2.00 cost base and $2.78 copper we should be producing an EBITDA of around 70m - 75m euro for the full year. Enough to pay of either Astor and/or trade debt/PRT expansion. | waterloo01
25/7/2017 09:27 | We did but again were 40p higher or there abouts. We should be as everyone knows way north of here | come on
25/7/2017 09:27 | Copper touched $2.78 in mid Feb 2017, but the last time we saw that number was on the way down in late May 2015.. with costs predicted to be c$2.00 we're in the money now..! | laurence llewelyn binliner
25/7/2017 09:26 | Erric, if Cu just holds this price there will be no need for a placing any time soon IMHO. The upgrade project can be funded out of cashflow and taking the second option of the Transamine deal if required. The FCF generated in Q1 alone was >€12m. In one quarter ATYM lowered the debt to suppliers by €5m (€20m left) and reported €9m unrestricted cash (up from zero). This was all done in one quarter with an average 2.64 Cu price and a lower than expected production. In addition a significant proportion of the output was still sitting at port and valued at cost. Add this to the fact that we expect output costs are still falling and subsequent quarters should see the remaining debt to suppliers paid off in no time. Touro will require funding but I believe that is still some time off. SBT | superbobtaylor
25/7/2017 09:15 | RP - it's good to see the copper price up but I don't think it's a two year high. Didn't we hit this figure just recently back in February ? | erric
25/7/2017 09:12 | Shakey, good to see your confidence flowing. I'm thinking of dipping in again myself ( as Red Peter would say )and at the moment the quote for 5,000 through H-L is 125p. The only thing ( ha ha - maybe ten things ) stopping me is that the market is not usually wrong for a long period, even though I know it can be irrational over the short term. I'm just a little worried about another share placing dropping us back ten percent or so. If I could just be confident that our Chief Exec made his purchase expecting a near term uplift then I would be plunging back in without hesitation. | erric
25/7/2017 09:12 | Steady buying building up pre the production report.... | rougepierre
25/7/2017 08:57 | ATYM and CAML both languishing at present while other heavily indebted producers fly. ATYM has the better growth prospect of the two but CAML pays a fat dividend and also a much lower cost profile and zero debt. I want both. | shakeypremis
25/7/2017 08:40 | Can we ever break out of this cycle, our share price should be heading north towards 2.00 and over even with Astor and Touro.Atym will be raking the profit in if this copper price remains... | bewise2
25/7/2017 08:38 | Copper blown through resistance at c $2.76...now at a more than 2 year high...next ceiling around $2.86 and then on to $3.00...Shanghai copper stockpiles well down...LME stockpiles falling again...growing monthly production deficits... ATYM waiting like a coiled spring...2nd quarter production results should give analysts a chance to sharpen their pencils and pushvtheir price targets further towards 300p...NPV must be over 400p at this copper price... Ready to rock and roll...... AIMHO as usual... | rougepierre
25/7/2017 08:29 | Yes it went to 160 | come on
25/7/2017 08:26 | Copper chapping on the door of $2.80 and we haven't even had a trade yet. WTF is going on here. I recall not so long ago when copper was climbing to around this level and we watched out share price climb with it. Not this time though.... | iankn73
25/7/2017 08:25 | Copper @ 2.78, our share price is in the doldrums....whats goin on? | bewise2
25/7/2017 08:25 | I gotta get my butt back in here pronto. | shakeypremis
25/7/2017 07:25 | Still no Q2 news, but $2.77 Copper, and rolling well with the Dollar as the next Fed interest rate decision looms.. Q3 earnings are starting off well, +10% on Copper results in +50% on profits, and that's exactly what we've now had since Jan from $2.50 to $2.75 Copper... it's just winding the spring up for the break out.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
24/7/2017 20:16 | Cu at 2.74. After reviewing the q1 numbers today I bought a few more. SBT | superbobtaylor
24/7/2017 17:40 | Q2 results tomorrow then..? if 25.07.2016 is to be a repeat of last years update..? Copper still climbing and closing in on $2.75/lb again. | laurence llewelyn binliner
24/7/2017 09:22 | volsung - Maybe you should research verbal diarrhoea. | iankn73
24/7/2017 09:19 | Copper still looking like its in an up trend. There's a correlation to US $ weakness, clearly. | sirmoori
24/7/2017 09:01 | Well done Acamas...great set of priorities... | rougepierre
24/7/2017 08:20 | Tomorrow for numbers then. | waterloo01
23/7/2017 12:39 | rp, No. I am busy on other things. Summer Season BBQ's, Days out, birthday parties and all that. Just waiting for company to arrive. Yesterday at the races came home £35 richer than I left home with, so I was satisfied and that included all expenses and bets. | acamas |
