I think I may need to call an ambulance or at the very least lie down. A buy of 10K and then another buy of 5K.

Sorry - feeling a bit faint. Bye

Sorry, please excuse my ignorance as I don't follow atym closely. I have a holding and check in on it every now and then.

Whatever happened to the payment from the Spanish government of circa 8.5m Euro (cant remember the exact figure) for achieving name plate capacity. Did atym receive it? I couldn't see any mention of it in recent rns.

If anyone is going to the agm can they ask about it?

Cheers
Peter

Husbord,

I am sure ATYM's share will turn around, but two things need to happen Traf have to face up some or all of their cards and dividends have to occur at least twice a year. If you can time them then that is the time to join.

I have held PMO shares since the 60's when the IC Private Newsletter tipped them. I think they had two wells in Jamaica and some leases. Good luck to you

Ben Graham is the boy he believed in having control over the consequences of being wrong. With ATYM Traf. has control in the boardroom imo and PR machine is just a little iffy. So the PI's are supporting an AIM Company's share that might be held comatose by its II shareholders for some time. Anyone like to tell me how to go about controlling the consequences other than portfolio diversification or abstention

Bit like my wtfdik purchase of PMO Acamas - no idea they would announce a massive new Mexico oil field today. Sometimes instinct is a good investment strategy. Still think instinctively that ATYM will be a winner - the facts are just a bonus!

off topic

RP,

I bought those RWA shares and today they have put out an RNS that suggests their business is up all around the globe. As they say "better to be lucky....". Got the timing right there, fluke.

Then there seems nothing much else in the AGM of interest.

The share crosses we have been seen could be related to getting shoes off swap in order to vote at AGM and nothing else.

As far as issuing stock at current share price, that would be mental ... we should start to raise project finance ... and yes that means we need an agreement with Astor in place (if possible).

If Astor would do a deal i.e. drop need to be paid 100% of £40 millions straight away , we could get some debt on board , rather than stupid dilution

We have this discussion every year . . . That's been a standard clause in the EMED AGM document every year for quite some time now . . .

#waterloo01, you're a sensible poster, I read your contributions, but I see you are reading things that aren't there in mine, I've never claimed to have any size of holding nor will I here..

If this resolution is to be a pre-cursor for new equity, which it could be, we just don't know yet, then in a rights issue we will get the same options to buy discounted shares as anyone else.., I'm hoping it won't come to equity, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it does form a part of the funding sooner or later for PRT or Touro..

The resolution 13 neatly fits not far from my expectations for PRT expansion costs.

We all want the same thing here, growth, productivity, and profits, that 1 day will be returned to us through dividends, if equity is the best tool to unlock the growth, it's not such a bad thing.. :o)

We also still have a buyer in the background. Normally when you get more than a couple of market size sells they drop the price, but they seem happy to absorb the sells that came their way earlier this afternoon.

And while I'm at it......
COPPER
Wind energy uses five times the quantity of copper per unit of electrical energy than the conventional burning of coal and photovoltaic solar power uses six times more copper per unit of electrical energy.
China, which will be investing $361-billion into renewable power generation in the next three years, is already the world’s largest consumer of copper, with almost half of it going into power generation and the rest into appliances, transport, construction and electronics.
Friedland said under traditional technology, before the advent of electric cars and renewable wind and solar energy solutions, his grandson was going to consume 971 pounds of copper in his lifetime and 521 pounds of zinc.
In 2016, the world had a population of 7.4-billion, which is scheduled to grow to 9.6-billion people in 2050.
Currently, copper production is less than 20-million tonnes a year.
The introduction of electric cars to clean the air will require 120-million tonnes of copper a year.
In the last three years, the world has increased copper production by an average of 328 000 t a year.
From now on, the world would need 6.4-million tonnes of new copper production a year just to maintain where the world is headed.
But the mining industry was not even close to finding the copper to clean the air.
The industry is mining about 16% of the copper required.

LLB, your comment 7893. If you have the size of holding you claim, surely a little research and thought before you react would be wise not reacting like a cat caught in headlights, to some unknown poster. You further compounded it by suggesting "We will all get the chance to buy some more too at the discounted price in a rights issue".

Where does it say that?

not me shortarm, keeping my fire arm ready for the 20% discount in a few months time.

Thinking about shorting my own share myself seeing as it only has one way of travel until they making clear unambiguous statements.

This is from last years AGM vote: Do hope no one has been shaken of their holdings due to scare mongering.

Resolution 14: Authority to Allot Shares
The Shareholders will be asked to consider and, if deemed advisable, to approve a resolution to authorise the Directors to allot, or grant rights to subscribe for, up to an aggregate of 23,335,912 new Ordinary Shares (representing approximately 20 per cent. of the Company’s issued share capital at the date of this Circular) as if the rights of pre-emption in Section 60B of the Companies Law did not apply.
In accordance with the terms of Resolution 14 any Ordinary Shares issued, or rights to subscribe for Ordinary Shares granted, pursuant to this authority will be at a price of not less than a 20 per cent. discount to the VWAP of an Ordinary Share on AIM for the ten trading days immediately preceding the issue or the grant and subject to compliance with, and obtaining any requisite approvals required by, the AIM Rules and the rules of the TSX. Such authority, unless previously revoked or renewed, will expire at the annual general meeting of the Company to be held in 2017.

#MDS let's not be so negative.., if we are looking to raise $25-30M, for the PRT expansion, not as much as I was expecting, and it will unlock 33M/pounds of Coppers worth of extra profits every year for 10-12 years, for sale at market price and not discounted, paying for itself 10 times over.

We will all get the chance to buy some more too at the discounted price in a rights issue..

so they are going for 20% dilution at up to 20% discount as per item 13 in the special business section.
So the shorter who ever they are has been given the nod and the wink and has been making money all the way down and will make money when the finally release the 20% of shares they want agreed at the agm.
The big question is when are they going to release the 20% as our share price will continuously drift knowing it will always be 20% cheaper int he coming months.

So I can now see why AL is looking for work else where, his credibility with us is shot, he said no further dilution and has been shafted by the bod who will use this to give them selves further discounted off takes at the same time at no real cost.

80p here we come
