CAML is also not tracking the copper price. It's not specific to ATYM only.

come on,

It should be doing a lot of things this share price, but it is not. Until I can get to the bottom of the problem I think I am better off investing elsewhere.

Time will prove if my cunning plan will work better than hanging on in here

Copper $2.72 and fast approaching $2.75 and yet ATYM hasn't moved. Not much more to add.

This is a public BB for discussing shares . . . As much as you want to close down alternative views it isn't going to happen and nor should it . . . Despite your endless positive posts the share price has dropped from 160p to 117p . . . That's not because I have been posting here . . . There are obviously other reasons for this and so it's appropriate to consider what they might be whether you like it or not . . .

rp,

My opinions and comments have little effect on ATYM's share price. It is Traf's silence and non action towards the share price. They could if they wished be more proactive towards boosting the share price. To me it seems right now they do not want to engage with the share price for whatever reason.

Plus I do attempt to be factual and offer a balanced view to the problem

#Acamas, it is hugely frustrating as a LTH here looking at the disconnect between share price and company asset value, but we just need to let the BOD get on with the job of building the company, and that is what they are doing.., the BOD don't need to plug our cause with endless RNS's, it would be good to see 1 or 2 a month, but I will make do with the important ones..! we don't need any more II backers, the 21% free float for PI's is tight, but when it pops it will work in our favour.

2017 will give us some major news on how/how soon the expansions are going to get started, and in the meantime we are reporting profits and steadily building our cash position to the tune of $5/6/7M a quarter, paying down our deferred invoices and clearing the decks.. flywheels take a long time to spin up, but once rolling they carry huge momentum.., I'm happy with low and slow instead of spike and retrace again.. $3.00 Copper would be an accelerator tho'.. :o)

llb,

One item nobody can Challenge is the imbalance between the Company's progress and the share price slumber. To return to old money we sit at 3.86p per share. When viewed against all the good news over the last 18 months and your posts on what is still to come. It just fails to add up. OK you can place Astor on the table as a problem but it is a known.

Just when is this share going to be released from its chains 6 months, 1 year or 2 years ahead? Plus how will Management go about making themselves very rich. They do not seem to be bothered about momentum and the share price currently. Is 27% free float sufficient to effect a 3 to 5 bagger in the share price? Or will they need to release or introduce more shares?

It is true The Market does not like uncertainty and we might well have it in trumps here

You're all sunshine and light CuFeS2...! When I say 'risk off', I don't think we have any more skeletons in the closet now, we are up and running in business, operational, scaled up, earning money, posting profits, and looking for expansion.., and that is a good place to be..There are alway external risks sector wide, and geo political ones..., but stand alone ATYM, is well positioned going forward... AIMO..!

Obviously it's not risk off as the share price indicates . . . Geo political issues . . . World growth . . . Can US stock markets maintain historic highs . . . Copper price uncertainty . . . Board and ownership structure . . . Pending court cases . . . Uncertainty around financing . . . Senior management resource potentially diluted across multiple projects . . . Dividends moved further out . . . None of the above may impact on the SP, however when investing it's dangerous to view a company in isolation . . . A simple SWOT analysis might help some posters put things into perspective . . . Cue snide comments about being negative and miserable blah, blah, blah . . . The share price has dropped from 160p to 117p despite all the positivity on here . . .

A risk off share now as far as I am concerned, all the risk 'on' was acquisition/permitting + financing to get us up and running.. Astor we know about, and the worst case costs..

As RP points out, we're only 6 months into full scale production, spinning off $5M in Q1, Q2 numbers next week/financials next month.. FY2017 profits of c$25M pending the Copper price.., I'm planning on adding again soon as this should be the bottom of the share price now, I don't see any bad news coming our way, only upside updates on the below

(1) PRT upgrade form 9.5 to 15.0MTPA and 55,000 Tonnes of Copper in hand
(2) Touro acquisition to add another 35,000 Tonnes of Copper in hand
(3) Zinc project
(4) Gold project AL is a NED and scoping this out at zero cost

Shakeypremis, very succinctly put. It's not a risky blue sky share but a well run, profitable and growing business. I'd say the time is now, but can understand if folk wait for the share price to start to climb again before making an investment.

I really don't see what is all that speculative about this company. The only speculative aspects are the debt (which is sort of ironed out and not a massive amount), and how expansion of production at PRT and production at Touro will be handled. Oh, and the weird share price action of course.

This company will make bags of cash at this copper price and even more if it gets anywhere near $3.00/lb.

I am not currently invested (but have been) but I can't think of many more undervalued copper producers in safe places of the world. CAML: Central Asian Mining Limited is another on my list - most likely doesn't have the growth potential of ATYM but does pay a fat dividend. Perhaps I will buy both when I feel the time is right...

Most of those Investment managers probably don't invest on AIM full stop Acamas.

The pool of potential IIs we can attract whilst on AIM is more limited than it would be if we were on the main market.

We are still very speculative (but nowhere near as speculative as a year ago) so only particular kinds of funds will be interested.

Husbord,

Investment Managers I am informed do look for companies that pay regular dividends. So many of them will not invest here because of that fact alone.

With regard to rp's post I have changed my tune when the money I had tied up here is now giving capital appreciation and dividends elsewhere. Having said that I hope for all the investors here that the tide turns and quickly. Nobody can speed up the Astor legal problem so I am not expecting the share price to move forward until it is settled

acamas

Oh dear Acamas...sounds like a fundamental change of tune...

Sirius (SXX) won't even mine a lb of polyhalite for 5 years, let alone pay a dividend, but they now have a market cap of £1.266 BILLION and it was recently £1.5 billion...

They've RNSed 38 times in the last year; we've RNSed 23 times in the same period, despite being in full production, producing positive EBITDA and then profits, the Touro acquisition and the zinc prospect...why? Because we only RNS what we need to...

It's all about creating and managing expectations, keeping people informed of everything and keeping this share in the front of people's minds...

So let's hope Newgate get their act together...

NMC is a $5 billion healthcare company with almost $1 billion revenues;

IPX is an established investment manager, making steady profits for years;

3i is an established investment manager that has been around for most of my life, with a MCap of £9 billion;

Swallow field is an established personal care and beauty products company with only one 'cornerstone' institutional shareholder; (we have four, including one of the biggest funds in the world...); George Soros (wouldn't want him); and Mr & Mrs Persey; above 3%...we also have Majedie...

Look Acamas, you're doing a great job making money for yourself, but this is a mining company just over half a year into full production, with excellent productivity, phenomenal prospects; Analyst values more than twice the current price; and likely to declare a maiden dividend in 2018...

If you can't see this, I have to ask why you're here at all...?

As I said before...good luck mate and I hope you get back in here in time to make 100% or more in ATYM...?

Hi Acamas. I have to respectfully disagree with you on dividends - there are plenty of high growth companies that do not pay dividends where the p/e ratio reflects the potential future growth. There are other things holding us back and the Board are clearly as frustrated by the share price as are we.

rp,

Why should the Market ramp a share that has outstanding legal issues and cannot pay a dividend. Until these shackles have been removed no large investor will show interest. There must be more than 1000 shares in front of this one for serious money.

For example on 05/01/17 I selected four shares to follow NMC, IPX, III & SWL. I looked at them again last night to see they are up 49.9%. It is these type of shares that will attract funds not shares like ATYM until it shows promise. Anyone who buys currently could be making an unwise investment imo

Just a feeling shortarm...when we hit 116 last week I sensed we were bottoming out...then the massive trades which had the look of a seller finally finding a price and a buyer...just maybe Mr 5k was involved in that? And now there are some steady sales being taken in without the downward trail continuing...

AL gave no hint of the Production levels and costsvother than to assert continuing to come under budget, so I'm looking for a blockbuster, especially including the brought forward stock from Q1...also it will enable further Analyst revisions...

Surprised its not today, but it must be soon because AL has improved reporting deadlines since we ramped up...

Also we may get a Touro update not long after that...

But Newgate needs to develop a stream of positive RNSs, because other companies have shown that is what creates momentum...

AIMHO as usual...
