I used to enjoy dipping into this stock. Over the last 6months I made a reasonable amount but since the 'split' it's simply not worth dipping in. Reason from me 1. the 'spread' is about 0.5% on a share price of £16.50ish thats over 8p difference. I cannot see it having that day traders dream of massive ups and downs within short term periods. 2.Its gonna need a massive RNS to move it an extra £1

@ZinoS73 if you want to know why Aston martin did it you can read it in the prospectus. They did it to reduce volatility and lure in bigger investors. It would be negative if they did it and there was any big news to go with it. But with all the big news we’ve had this year I’m not too worried. Now Aston Martin needs to start building sales numbers, but I suspect that will only start happening towards the backend of next year, start of 2022.

Did I say I was long on Aston Martin? Is RobinGood still talking about pence? SMH

Its often done to reduce the erratic move in a share price.
People don't think anything if a share moves a few pence, but it means a lot of the share price is 70p rather than 1400p.
Really it is more psychological as the key thing is the relevant to percentage moves against the market cap that counts.

this type of reorganiaation is often a con and rarely leads to a better share price in real times
