29/3/2022 07:10 | “I’m Still Waiting” was a great Diana Ross and the Supremes song, but sounds pretty flat where Arris NLG is concerned. | psychochopper
29/3/2022 06:14 | Great. Another expensive hire eating into that sub $2M USD ARR revenue... | windhill
29/3/2022 04:48 | Word is that promoters have pulled back because forward revenue is dicey and they are back looking at a pre-IPO raise to tide them over until the 'fundamentals improve.' Same old story. Watch out for a note blaming the war in Ukraine or a hurricane in Cuba requiring a postpone until Q4. Or 2024. Same old story.... | windhill
28/3/2022 19:11 | Hi Rackers. No one has received the prospectus as yet. But should be soon now. | kidknocked
28/3/2022 19:11 | Hey Kid , yes agree with that time frame, reckon we will have the date and details before Easter Hopefully by June we will be up and running .. that's just my guess but would be very surprised if not Psychochopper ... bore off with your disgruntled employee reports from 2016 ! I would imagine anyone working at Arria is more excited than ever right now as their stock holding is on the brink of becoming liquid ! | legal alien
28/3/2022 18:34 | Better do, or the company will fail to pay more pension entitlements to employees. They likely have enough cash to keep going for a while but the cash burn is still high given the level of expertise required to develop products they can combine with the likes of accounting firms and other tech firms. Any word on the revenue projections in the prospectus? You (LA and Kid) have received it so don't be shy. Surely they are not trying to flog this equity without fully describing this. | psychochopper
28/3/2022 17:52 | Hi Legal Alien. Whats your guess for when we will hear something re the IPO ? I still reckon before Easter. | kidknocked
28/3/2022 16:53 | To be fair, staff who have left are often disenchanted. But a history of cash flow issues which only notably increasing revenue can improve. | psychochopper
28/3/2022 16:52 | Some of the older ones. Perhaps new management have improved things, but how did they think they were going to get the IPO away a few years back????? 1.0 ★★★ Current Employee Hopeless management 28 Oct 2017 - Anonymous Employee Recommend CEO Approval Business Outlook Pros The developers I work with are fantastic. Cons The senior management has no clue about the technology. Advice to Management Get a CEO who understands what the tech is about before we collapse. 2 people found this review helpful Helpful Share Report Flag as Inappropriate 1.0 ★★★ Current Employee Doesn't pay staff on time. Hasn't paid superannuation entitlements for the entirety of 2017. 10 Oct 2017 - Software Engineer in Sydney Recommend CEO Approval Business Outlook Pros Great work life balance Dedicated and friendly team members Solid development practices. Developers have plenty of freedom. Cons Costly politics between offices. The product developed by the Aberdeen office (head office) is a commercial failure, yet the company has continued to spend most of its resources there. The Sydney office has even been forced to put one of its products on hold just to keep the Aberdeen product alive! The original management team understood these problems by then end of 2016, but were forced to leave the company the moment that they suggested corrective action be taken. The new management team clearly does not understand the technology. Whats even worse is that they probably know that they don't understand it, but don't care because they have the conviction that sales doesn't require substance. If you're only in it to make a quick buck, then I suppose that's a strategy that could pay off. My advice: research the backgrounds of the principal investors and related parties. You'll find that some of them have a history of unethical behaviour. You'll also find that some of them have criminal records, including for fraud. Since the beginning of 2017 the company has routinely run out of cash and has been paying staff several weeks late. Whenever people would complain the attitude of management was basically: "How dare you complain! I'm paying you with my money! You're lucky to have jobs!". They also treat statutory entitlements like superannuation as optional, and don't seem to care that the ATO imposes penalties for non-compliance. We have been repeatedly lied to about the time at which these entitlements would be paid. Staff were also promised share options - not that they would be worth anything - but have received nothing. There is much more to tell, but surely the above is a sufficient warning! Advice to Management Pay your debts, including unpaid employee entitlements. Follow the law. Be honest about the company's financial position and prospects, and declare bankruptcy if required. It would be unconscionable to ask investors for more money or to attempt to list the company on the stock exchange. 9 people found this review helpful Helpful Share Report Flag as Inappropriate 1.0 ★★★ Current Employee, more than 1 year Poor Management! 11 Oct 2017 - Software Engineer in Sydney Recommend CEO Approval Business Outlook Pros Good team, smart people, flexible, good culture. Everyone except for those at management level are great. Cons Salary is always late, superannuation also not paid. End of every month, you always have to worry about whether you're gonna get paid or not. Management team has no idea what they're doing. All they care about is ride the 'AI' hype as much as possible to pull money in. Basically management thinks that AI is one massive gravy train. Unfortunately management has no understanding of the tech they're trying to sell. Instead they want to IPO, which is rather unethical because they want to pull in more money from everyday people thinking they want to get in on the AI trend. Advice to Management Declare bankruptcy, stop borrowing money from the Bahamas. Give money back to investors. 5 people found this review helpful | psychochopper
