Personally pleased that TW got in touch with KS to ask. Very helpful.

Nice of KS to update TW. Why not get it out to the market given the current share price? Most investors think TW is wrong most of the time and aren’t prepared to pay him as his articles are behind a paywall

Things are going really well here, the share price is stubbornly staying over 1p.

My prediction remains 1p by Easter.

I don't think this will go bust, but I do expect a difficult year ahead and a fund raise.

My thoughts were that the terrain was very different TD, not just proximity. Large quantities of rain coming down steep hills leads to more problems.

Nothing to do with proximity. It's all about how the authorities respond.

The Coplar mine is nowhere near Ariana's Tavsan mine. It's a different region of Turkey and so I'd be surprised if it had any impact. It would be helpful if Ariana clarified.

I had just read about the Coplar mine. Does anyone think that there is any chance of delay due to any safety reassessment of plant design at Tavsan being demanded by authorities? Not saying it would halt the project but could lead to delay in production. Worrying, especially as todays price problems seem independent of this news.

11.7m shares traded. The last time we had such volume (March 2023) it was preceded by:

The Company was recently made aware that a local court, the Kütahya Administrative Court, determined to rule in favour of a motion to temporarily suspend the construction activities of Zenit at the Tavsan mine site until a new expert report relating to the Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA") is submitted to the court. This motion has resulted in an interim decision ("the Decision") which provides a temporary stay on the provisions of the "Environmental Impact Assessment Positive" status of the Project issued by the Ministry of the Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change, dating to 8 October 2021.

Contagion from SSR's Copler mine disaster today in Turkey? Footage looks awful. Hopefully folks are okay.

And now I notice PoG broken to under $2k. That is not helpful after today.

Just catching up. Been out most the day with a good friend who had a 'procedure' yesterday. Puts everything, including this undoubted 'bleep' show into perspective. Re MDV, I'm not a big fan but maybe removal isn't likely. Nailed on really with KS and private institutions likely to support him. However it is very worthwhile having a substantial, if not sufficient, vote against re-election in order to bring to the Boards attention the dissatisfaction of very many shareholders. I would support such a protest with my holding.

PS - i am not having a go at any one on here. it is just cold observation of what i see and how my mind interprets seen reality /which probably is different to what i comprehend/

Cinoib I have been in this since nearly day one. I only own a small fraction of what I once had.
The reason I still hold is Fomo that the company might actually surprise us one day 😆 but also as a teaching aid to know what not to look for in future with a Ceo and Chairman. Never bet on a geologist that is a Ceo or a Chairman that shows contempt for shareholders that travel many miles to a agm. Big red flags.

Quite right xow. But as I said earlier MdV suits the narrative.
They are not interested in the least in the share price they will just go on blindly doing what they are doing.
We have called for change numerous times and nothing does.

Isn't that usually the Chairman? Someone who is market savvy and can talk to investors.

I thought most were suggesting asking him tbh . What I want is the board to be bolstered by someone whose responsibility is getting the share price up .

As far as I can tell from the website, MdV is an executive director and company secretary as well as Chairman. No-one's suggesting sacking him, just giving someone else a turn as chair.

Is he an executive director? The site says Sangster and Payne are non-exec but doesn't specify for MdV so the implication seems to be that he's exec.

is MdV wanted on any other board....
is he part of revolving doors community...
is KS liking MdV and his style and would oppose changes - effectively MdV having support of KS and many big private shareholders. MdV or ks being friends with them...

nothing will change imho
big shareholders being responsible

just take 3 big private shareholders from this bb and add ks and mdv and there you are....in voting terms

nothing will change

and the cheaper the share price the more they like it - they buy more and fix up the situation that they are creating. and are paid for it unlike we

of course i am wrong - above are phanthasys - starvest and estate sellers are the problem here. once they sell up blue sky is on
