15/2/2024 09:26 | as regards rns on dokwe today, i suspect its being looked at as a sale prospect once significant value has been added. i note the rns states... "We recently introduced Rockover to our operations team and project partners in Türkiye, with a longer-term view that there may be opportunities to collaborate with them specifically on the feasibility-stage development of Dokwe." and "Our initial market soundings in the UK and Australia relating to our potential interest in the feasibility-stage development of Dokwe have also been positive." granted those statements could be read in a number of ways but a lot of emphasis on 'feasibility stage development' so sounds like they are aiming to tie it up in a nice bow with feasibility completed and possibly as many permits as possible obtained and sell it on. the comment about growing interest by foreign listed entities in zimbabwe could be a pointer to increasing possibilities for sale opportunities. and if ozaltin want in to dokwe it may be separately to the zenit partnership. (that could be a model that aau/ozaltin adopt for other opportunities too, i.e. aau prime the pump and offload to ozaltin or to proccea/ozaltin who go in with their project management and development muscle.) for all his talk about not being bothered about the share price and 'value will out' even ks must be keen to realise the financial benefits of his projects before another 10 to 20 years pass. his interest is in the geology and discovery process. rns says more will be announced around end q1 2024 but it wont give the game away as regards intended exit point, that would be commercially foolish. | ![]() konil

15/2/2024 08:37 | Stanley Druckenmiller has dumped tech stocks and has bought gold miners. Duquesne Family Office, the investment vehicle belonging to famed macro investor Stanley Druckenmiller, dumped shares of Alphabet Inc., Amazon.com AMZN, +1.39% and Broadcom Inc. AVGO, +0.84% while scooping up shares of beaten-down gold miners Barrick Gold Corp. GOLD, -0.64% and Newmont Corp. NEM, +0.25%, according to a Wednesday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. | ![]() xow98
15/2/2024 08:20 | Zero interest, looking at zero trades so far, but on the plus side, it is better communication. | ![]() xow98
15/2/2024 08:10 | £10 profit? | zangdook
15/2/2024 07:44 | These options were clearly mentioned in the November mine and money meeting. Ozaltin have set up a specific mining operation and are looking at projects of their own also. The guy in charge of this is close to AAU and receptive to their ideas. Procea I believe are looking to expand beyond Turkey etc. I believe this is another significant tentacle to there operations. Dividends once tarsvan consistently producing has been confirmed on a number of occasions. With overlap at kiziltepe and tarsvan looking at potentially £10 profit from those operations . SSR sniffing Hiz operation could result in significant cash injection. Salinbas could be maintained and go into production. WTR and newmont venture could realise some real returns. Venus await IPO conditions. Other Asgard operations becoming more significanti albeit slowly. When share price is under attack by sellers there's a tendency to forget the actual fundamentals | ![]() bigglesbingham
15/2/2024 07:33 | I did reply with this at the time when someone said ALL of Ariana profit would be spent in Zimbabwe. Clearly they are being sensible! We recently introduced Rockover to our operations team and project partners in Türkiye, with a longer-term view that there may be opportunities to collaborate with them specifically on the feasibility-stage development of Dokwe. | ![]() shortarm
15/2/2024 07:12 | Options there for routes forward with Dokwe then. Involving the Turkish partners does sound potentially complex. Mention of UK/Aus markets - a listing as an alternative? Or AAU raising funds specifically for? | ![]() dixi

14/2/2024 10:39 | Not sure we want to know what you get up to in your spare time Charles 😁 Cinoib I did OK but for very long periods I was way underwater and not very much return for the amount of time and heartache. Would have probably done better in a bank over 10yrs. | ![]() soulsauce
14/2/2024 10:35 | Yes Charles, generous company. Pretty much every month a new opportunity for bottom fishing, and always at a lower price than the month before! | ![]() jaynesdad
14/2/2024 10:22 | Soulsaurce, good I hope you got out with more than you went in with. A lot of small and medium miners appear to be having problems at the moment, then I see Srb has weathered the storm and appears to be improving after it got it's license extended for a further 3 years and has gone from 25-53 in the past few months, not that I bought in as been bitten too much of late with gold. | ![]() cinoib

14/2/2024 08:37 | Confirmed by Yellow Jersey - MdV has attended the Mining Conference in South Africa but Ariana did not have a stand. You may have seen BRR Media interviews from the conference with HUMM, CAML and Cornish Metals. Nothing from AAU though. | ![]() plasybryn
14/2/2024 08:24 | If you read the last 3000 posts you will see that the BoD's lack of communication has been raised with them many times, not least by Biggles on multiple occasions. | ![]() xow98
14/2/2024 08:14 | You should write to the company and tell them then. | ![]() philby1
14/2/2024 08:03 | I prefer information direct from the company, or at least in the form of a video interview. Second hand hearsay can't be relied on at all, and the company can't be challenged if it turns out to be inaccurate. | zangdook |
