28/11/2023 13:31 | Well obviously it does Shortarm as you always like to point out. You can be a voice against the 'naysayers' while remaining respectful. | ![]() soulsauce
28/11/2023 13:25 | I am not here for favouring myself, I am here as a little counter voice to the doomsday naysayers.Otherwise thanks for your input (you give a lot of input for your 2 grand investment! - not that only having 2 grand in here lowers the value of your opinion obviously!) | ![]() shortarm
28/11/2023 13:20 | 27 Rns's but many of them are about satellite projects like Venus and Wtr updates, 2 of results which are obligatory and the Tavsan stop and start. Cut through that and there is little of substance there I am afraid and certainly doesn't add up to never been so busy. | ![]() soulsauce
28/11/2023 13:15 | That is the commodities market fella, it is just not for you it seems. | ![]() shortarm
28/11/2023 13:08 | Shortarm, So 27 RNSs and the net result - the share price dropped in that period by around 30%. Perhaps if the company gave news that would-be investors were looking for, there may have been a different result. | ![]() jaf1948
28/11/2023 12:53 | Why aren't the Brokers talking the numbers? Concurrent mining at Tavsan & Kiziltepe looks pretty nailed, so a wonderful opportunity to excite the market. I was disappointed Rob Tyson didn't really follow through on his earlier interview 12 months before, asking hard questions like why did you promote Kiziltepe pre production, but not Tavsan this time? Why didn't you follow through with ongoing news from Salinbas & Hizzy? What about the large drill programme at Kiziltepe? Why has the updated Resource/Reserve leading to a hoped for extended life of mine been treated as apparently such a low priority? The interviewers always seem to give the Interviewee such an easy time. Is it because it is all pre agreed and the Interviewer wants to earn fees now & in follow ups. Me being cynical. Half the time these interviews are a waste of time imo. No one ever holds the Co's to account. And the Co's like AAU keep info minimal, so no one can criticize them for missing targets. Let's hope Thursday's presentation will contain some meat and even better some numbers. | ![]() plasybryn

28/11/2023 11:27 | Investor 26th November AAU interview very focused on Turkey last Nov with lots of news - 🤔expected share price appreciation as 2nd mine comes into production. Didn’t happen. Massive drill programmes - updated resource & reserve - didn’t happen. Venus IPO - didn’t happen. Salinbas drill news - didn’t happen🤔 Response Apart from this list of “didn’t happen” being largely incorrect, there is a far longer list of “did happen”. Exploration does not occur along linear timelines - there are bifurcations, overlaps etc. with each project given the priority due under the circumstances of the time. Investor “Largely incorrect” - can you perhaps clarify how the suggested observations are incorrect please? If they are , i apologise unreservedly. Perhaps Rob will feel these need updating in his forthcoming interview. Obviously we want to know also about the “did happens”. Response We have had at least 20 operational updates via RNS this year so far (averaging about 2 per month) which document the progress made across multiple fronts. Several matters remain work in progress for which updates will be provided in due course. Our RNS provide ample detail. I assume the podcast had already been recorded by the 26th for release on the 27th. Confrontational reponses. | ![]() xow98

28/11/2023 10:56 | For all of that good news, £1,000 of share trades today. Anybody looking at the chart is going to stay away until there is an upturn. AAU is only known by existing shareholders and those that have already disposed of their holdings. Need a broader audience so it is good to see more activity and to have a timeline added to the latest RNS which gives prospective investors something to feed off of. Hopefully they stick to it as they have missed out on a few to date. Would imagine that a lot of new potential investors are holding off until we get closer to production. Was surprised by the response to claret's tweet saying that Dokwe was more advanced than Salinbas as they hadn't provided us with the info (that I could find) at the time. Once again, communication. | ![]() xow98
28/11/2023 10:23 | It's worth noting that HUM is now starting to hum.I find it very interesting to compare HUM and RRR. Both are now multi producers, but so different in management style and investor "appreciation", and in production cost. And curious how similar the share price performance has been over the last few years.Fwiw I have a stake in both companies. | ![]() backmarker

28/11/2023 10:07 | Shortarm, I'm with you on 50k oz. KS, I seem to remember, has said they were reassessing the Tavsan production but we could have been informed of that decision as the mine must be nearly finished by now. | ![]() paul280i
28/11/2023 10:06 | So much potential here though it's clearly slower to be realised than some shareholders would like. I am underwater with these though any loss only becomes real of course when shares are sold and I have a 5 year time horizon to treble my investment. He hopes! I like this bb because whatever viewpoints are expressed, there usually is a civil and reasoned response. We're all in the dark on quite a few important matters. Patience needed with this share. Cheers and GlA. | ![]() bodgit
28/11/2023 09:47 | I've been ultra conservative but you get my drift | ![]() bigglesbingham
28/11/2023 09:31 | I'm expecting Tavsan to be targeting 50,000 Oz per year! | ![]() shortarm
28/11/2023 09:27 | So kizulchuk come on stream 18 months one has to assume overlap for tarsvan and kiziltepe 30 months (conservative). So let's assume 45000 oz per annum for these 30months so (15 kiz and 30 tar). All in cost say 700 (on high assumption) so profit 1300 on 2k gold and 23.5% of 1300 is 300 dollars per ounce to aau. So 45000 x 300 is 13.5 million or roughly 11 million pounds per annum against a market cap of 22 million. This is without all the other blue sky exploration projects some of which funded by JV partners. Am I missing something here? I know AAU never mention numbers. | ![]() bigglesbingham

28/11/2023 08:34 | Well let's see on that but great rns and nice timing ahead of Starvest holders becoming direct Aau holders. It isn't coincidence that the news flow and presentations have stepped up. Credit where credit due I've sent some really harsh messages through re marketing but I believe they are listening. | ![]() bigglesbingham
28/11/2023 08:31 | You have to think logically , ask yourself the question where would we be if we hadn't brought ozaltin on board? There would have been no dividend and the only cash would be coming from kizeltepe. There would be little exploration and we'd basically be a one trick pony in a jurisdiction which could reduce foreign ownership at anytime which is the reason I would have reduced exposure. Shareholders would be complaining they have had no return from investment as all money would have been put into tarsvan and no other workable assets. If that was the case can you imagine the effect the delays which occurred at tarsvan (fortunately no resolved) would have had. I dread to think. Sometimes you have to realise that you may have gold in the ground but you have to fund getting it out. | ![]() bigglesbingham
