So Jaf, tell me - what does look inviting over the next 12 months? Bonds? Fiat related investments? None of these rock my boat like a chunk of Ariana does. With gold and silver about to break out to all time highs and AAU producing and stockpiling gold I think the value therein speaks for itself. Never have I seen so much potential short term growth coupled with sustainable income from production in such an undervalued, oversold company as this.

It's the dilution aspect for me. Mining is incredibly cash intensive. Shareholdings can always be diluted, royalties cannot. Royalties survive bankruptcy of the operator, they sit senior in the capital structure, and the royalty holder isn't on the hook for any capex or opex. AAU know all this, but it does surprise me why bolting on a royalty isn't of interest. Having that future optionality is important. I don't have an issue with taking stakes in companies/projects that AAU think are highly prospective, but I'd like to see a royalty component inserted into financing agreements.

I totally agree with Kaos.

Banks always push for massive senior debt packages, but it is much better to grow organically over a longer time, much lower risk.

A couple of satellite mines to get the licenses and prove the geology, and build your business.

Deacon ... maybe i just do not get it. why not taking a stream on assets under our control before handing over our control /turkey, cyprus, kosovo/ and keeping small shareholding is worse than just keeping small shareholding

no one of the supporters of aau present model explained it to me in a fashion i could comprehend

stream + min stake vs just min stake

beyond my capacity probably

I have to agree with you on the royalty/stream point. I predominantly invest in royalty and streaming companies. In my view it's hands down the best model to invest into the mining sector. Keeping a production stage royalty on assets just makes sense to me. With all these projects/investments on the go, I'd like to see AAU adopt a model akin to someone like EMX, who are a royalty generator. EMX are starting to reap the rewards of what they've sown over the last decade or so. Having assets being developed by other people's cash, and recieving stage gate payments/milestone payments and always a production royalty is a great way to maintain exposure to assets

Jaf - Other than perhaps a rerate when Tarsvan production kicks in in Q2/3.

Outsider being Dokwe....but who knows which way that will go.

or if one needs outside financing - which is not the case here

one of many things - i do not get ... like not writing streams to ourselfs before we hand over control

define just enough, build scaleable small mining operation and after that commit to proving further resources

The last 24 hours has certainly clarified the situation about whether this company is a good investment or not. Assuming Kerim delivers on his strategy, and in the light of his track record that is more likely than not, if your time scale is long term (around 5 years I would say), this is a good place to invest. If your time scale is 12 months, then it does not look so inviting. All IMHO of course !

i am a stupid jester failure /not really heh heh/- reason because imho i acted similar to ariana

many good value projects

but

i overestimated my partners.

i saved myself from ruin because i had controlling stakes as an insurance in few projects only. problems came not while partners needed me. while building and struggling. problems came after the money was flowing big time.

hence my scepticism and micro management questions. i had it all. and some more. allways within law

imho good men should keep control before it is too late

Thank you to those who have provided feedback from the event yesterday, appreciated. I remain optimistic though patience clearly required. Gla.

It could all do with a general RNS that sets everything out tbh. Ariana has become so complex I don't know what any new investor would make of it

to me as a gardener it allways is fascinating how much drilling explorers do brfore starting the mine construction

take salinbas - on the data avaiable i would be building small flexible mine with 30kt pa capacity already and not loosing time with infinite drilling to provide confirmed proven resource with a detailed 3D model grid

the flexible mine would than be expanded for the real thing. meanwhile there is income, people and teams get formed, civil enginnering, maintainance teams, supply chains etc get operational ....

My take on this is that it could be significant and involve current partners procea ozaltin and newmont. It is clear the expertise and capital fits well with this project which is expected to be a couple million ounces at potentially 100k per annum. The Rockover guys seemed very genuine and have known Kerim for 20 years. I got the impression they have a superb project and are not getting any younger and want what we have proven we can do with Turkey applied to dowke as a flagship. I quizzed on Zimbabwe and they were extremely positive having brought mines to production there over the years. I asked KS about the fisher report which he dismissed but I will do more research to make myself fully relaxed about the province but they were very positive and eased my concerns re Zimbabwe somewhat. Miners love bringing gold into production it's like a drug for them , that's my take the more I interact with them.

One question, I'm not sure if this has come up so apologies if it has. Is there any indication of the size of the potential stake in Dokwe we would be looking to aquire. To me it sounds more than the Asgard norm?

Thank you Biggies & T4J. Like Lottsgold, I keep a low profile, but always look in and continue to hold a good chunk. Just need YJ to do a little more IMHO, and the gold price to continue to go northwards, but the story is definitely building. I wish all the forums could be like this one. Thanks again everyone.

I wouldn't expect SVE beneficiaries to get their shares that quickly; I certainly haven't.I will be extremely annoyed though if it was the SVE liquidators selling. There are lots of other holdings that could have been sold to cover their no doubt large 'piece of the pie'.
