(That adds up - looking back on the board I see BR mentioned having 2% in 2019 and SVE having 1.5% in 2021)

Do we have SVE holders here who'll know if the shares have been released?

If 3.5% was quoted that must have been for SVE and BR estate combined, because neither is listed as a 3% shareholder on the website.

So no TR1s whatever happens.

Bruce Rowan Estate not selling Plasybryn?. So we have been blaming the wrong source for the past year and now we are convinced SVE holders are selling.
Like Jaf I am not convinced it is either until I see a tr1.

Kerim confirmed the Estate of Bruce Rowan aren't selling but could be a few lose Starvest holders. But as said i'm not sure the AAU shares have been released yet. Biggles may have a view

I could sell my bitcoin and top up here but at the moment btc is moving up around 5% a day so it makes more sense to wait for a more sensible moment. Its all up in the air right now and making sense of it all is not easy but I am sure everything will become clearer in time.

I agree Soul, AAU was only a part of Starvest and by no means the largest part as Greatland Gold was stated as the 'large majority of the assets' even when Greatland share price was 6p, now 11p. It is possible that some 1m+ share sales of AAU shares over the last few days were from Starvest investors but they would have to have been very big holders there. I'm not convinced but who knows, not me.

If they are selling faster and there isn't the buyers to take them up then the share price will fall further or there won't be the liquidity to offload.
It would be beneficial if we were afforded a tr1 so we could be sure where the selling is coming from 🤷‍a94;️

They're selling faster now Soul, so it will clear. Badly advised IMO given the company's prospects, but WDIK. I can't see it's related to the company anyway.

KS mentioned Bruce Rowan's estate/ Starvest in the presentation the other day. It was on the shareholder slide but I couldn't see it well on line. I think he said they still had a holding of 3.5% but I may have misheard that. With the rate the sells are happening that should clear in 2 months or so IMO. Provided noone else is jumping ship it should bounce after that. This share price isn't logical.

Also if they were getting 1.5m chunks they must have had a rather large SVE interest.

Do we think it is the Starvest overhang that is causing the selling pressure. Won't last long, but could go into the new year as shares are released in dribs and drabs.

I am not too worried yet. My limited understanding of chart analysis leads me to believe that once a significant resistance line is crossed strongly, then a fall back to the resistance line before continuing to advance is a common occurrence known I believe as Confirmation.That may be what is happening to PoG.Of course PoG may not currently be the biggest impact on the share price of AAU.
