27/11/2023 12:08 | It is more miserableism then ageism..It is making my eyes bleed! Sell em, be happy, post office saving beckons!.Ooh, actually my mum told me I won a hundred quid in the last premium bonds draw! Maybe premium bonds? | ![]() shortarm
27/11/2023 12:07 | to answer my own question, i've thought of one thing, the pog may surprise. yes i know, an old and tired hope but it could happen! | ![]() konil
27/11/2023 12:01 | the ks/zvc interview seems to confirm that any 'monetary' excitement remains far into the future, the only exception being tavsan. given where aau are with the various projects i was not expecting anything different. cant understand the ongoing reluctance to pull the trigger on venus ipo, the only conclusion i can draw is that the economics/parameters of the offer are such that without apliki in the mix, it is unlikely to excite the market. so a real risk of a poor ipo result. (apliki may come later but clearly not as part of the ipo as venus no longer has it.) as a massively underwater investor here its going to remain depressing until tavsan starts and hopefully starts the share price move back to breakeven. anyone see any near term excitement, tavsan aside? please not drill results nor more asgard stakes in new ventures! but anything else? | ![]() konil
27/11/2023 11:37 | Shortarm, Leaving aside the blatant ageism of your post, you think we should just keep quiet about a company that is losing 20% of our investment every year for the past 3 years ? We have tried to get in touch with the directors but that route is blocked off and we have tried Q&A sessions but we either get platitudes or obfuscation. There are not many avenues left to us so the bulletin board is used to vent our feeling in the slender hope that the message will get through. If Kerim is saying that the company strategy is that there will be no great improvement for the next few years, then he should come out and say so. | ![]() jaf1948

27/11/2023 10:53 | Old fellas gotta have something to do Huffster, unfortunately moaning is favourite!Still, Christmas is coming - that will give em something new to moan about!Bah humbug! | ![]() shortarm
27/11/2023 10:52 | Well said huffster. We need a bit more optimism and a lot less defeatism if we are going to forge into 2024 with success. | ![]() charles clore
27/11/2023 10:47 | I might be in the minority but I thought the interview was pretty good. 2024 looks to be ripe for meaningful news. I'm curious to know what you all hope to achieve with the constant moaning on here and now on twitter other than some kind of group catharsis? It's certainly not going to make assay results / drilling campaigns resolve quicker and it's definitely enough to deter new investors (such as Starvest holders). All the drivel posted about mines and money. It's totally normal for companies to use outside facilities to host meetings and presentations instead of gloomy, expensive and crowded exhibition spaces. It doesn't mean the team won't be circulating, attending dinners etc Are any of you going to meet with the team this week to discuss your concerns? | ![]() huffster
27/11/2023 10:37 | Whoever thought a conversation in 2023 would be on Turkey being the stable option :)If that's an angle you're looking for you probably shouldn't be looking at AIM, Turkey, or Zimbabwe. As for the Kerim bashing, I can understand it from new-ish holders, but come on, nothing has changed in probably 5 years since Ariana with attitude turned into Ariana with a long term plan. We all know how good he is as a geologist, and we all know how poor he is at managing the market, if you've been here a long time I really suggest you make peace with that because it won't change. This is a long term play, has been for years, impatience here will bury you. | ![]() kirbs4
27/11/2023 10:34 | Thanks Plasybryn, saves me listening to it. | ![]() soulsauce
27/11/2023 10:16 | Very much hope 3p is achieved when Tavsan pours first gold! Then we can all be happy and look to the future, except that I'm sure many of the 'it ain't fair boss' brigade will stick around!! | ![]() shortarm
27/11/2023 10:14 | Kiziltepe is mining and growing!Tavsan is being built - you want Kerim to get some spanners out?Salinbas has more drilling than ever imagined - you just want results now! We all do but some of us can see that Kerim really does know what he is doing and has a TEAM of geologists behind him! | ![]() shortarm
27/11/2023 09:54 | Project Leopard, Eastern Turkey - which was going to be "the next big discovery" and which should have been reported "in the next few months" a year ago? | ![]() xow98
27/11/2023 09:54 | Shortarm, you're missing the point. I know KS is a very good geologist, I just don't want to be invested in an unstable country such as Zimbabwe. Our main focus should be the Turkish mines and the investments in Asgard metals. We don't need any more distractions. | ![]() claretandbluedave
27/11/2023 09:47 | New MRE for Kiziltepe early next year . New MRE for Tavsan early next year . And for those that think Kerim is conservaticve - Zack is excited! | ![]() shortarm
27/11/2023 09:46 | I cannot believe that Kerim thinks he knows more about Zimbabwe than the super duper experts on here! I mean, just because he's worked there! | ![]() shortarm
27/11/2023 09:45 | FWIW I think AAU will come good in time and I'm still adding when I can. The last few years have seen most junior miners in a worse state, and it timed with Bruce Rowan dying. He held such a huge stake that it was bound to impact. Like Renniks I think several have contributed by thinking mining produced quicker returns than they do. If they get Tavsan on line soon the share price will improve. | ![]() dodie1
27/11/2023 09:23 | The tweets that xow98 mentioned are mine, and I was trying to say to the company that I'm not happy with the investment into Zimbabwe. I invested here for the for the Turkish mines and especially Salinbas, being near to the Mariana Resources find, where I was also invested. Since Ozaltin came on board we have seen a large fall in the share price and now only own 23% of the pie in Turkey. Once Tavsan starts producing I'm out of here if the price gets above 3p. I'd like to see the end of year share price predictions list, and for those wearing the rose tinted glasses dream on. | ![]() claretandbluedave

27/11/2023 08:20 | These auld fellas do like a good moan, don't be spoiling their fun! They know a lot more than us (and any old geologist) they've been around a long old time! | ![]() shortarm |
