Biggles, can you reference the post number when responding? I can't work out what was brilliant, was a good question, was an excellent post or what they clearly don't. TIA.

Anybody had a look at the rockover.net website? Our broadband provider (Sky) does not like it and advises to not go there. Not sure if it is spurious, or if the website is in fact a bit dodgy! But it's not ideal that it gets flagged as a risky site especially as the AAU RNS gives their address. Is this the start of the Zimbabwe effect!!.....

Read that 85 page report yesterday. However turkey wasn't mentioned and very subjective based on individuals experiences. Having said that it's a question which will need to be addressed.

It was a believe ozaltin would speed things forward however it came out that they were primarily injecting capital and all drilling continued by AAU as if ozaltin didn't exist. They will I believe come into their own if or when salinbas or hiz come into production

Pedant time:

'We are so low on the share price because of Bruce Rowans millions of shares being let go.'

That is not the full story. ONE of the reasons why we are so low is the above. There are many others which I contend have played a much greater part. If the company had announced record profits and discoveries, Bruce Rowan's shares would have been snapped up with no negative effect on the share price.

So you agree it is a good company with strong project and good fundamentals. The communication has been awful lately, completely agree! Kerim actually said in the IMC that news has no effect on price (pretty generic statement). Excellent news will have an effect - we are so low on the shareprice because of Bruce Rowans millions of shares being let go.

Shortarm I am not purposely negative on this or any other share. I say it as I see it.
I am often down on this because I feel the company could do so much more if they had any interest in shareholders which I feel they don't.
I have often said this company doesn't deserve the unwavering following and long term holdings that many other aim junior miners could only dream of.

I thought we did most of the assays ourselves Shortarm?
Kerim talked of a backlog clearing at the start of the year yet reporting has not improved.
The news flow (edit) out of Salinbas is pathetic.

in sept 2022 gold was at $1650. today $2000.

aau is within 8 months of second gold mine and bigger than the first (which is still producing). yet no milestones or timelines even so close to production.

aau share price sept 2022 3p (down from c.6p). today 2p.

the market has no interest in aau.

the high level strategy seems good to me, but the comms is hopeless.

improved comms including milestones and timelines on the major projects at least and leopard too as that is 100% aau could bring back some market interest. mines and money would have been the ideal opportunity, not some obscure side room hoping the word somehow gets 'out there'.

kerim take heed, as the share price keeps dropping (despite value add in the background) your company may end up in someone else's hands and then it will be too late to realise that as the manager of a small listed entity it is dangerous and just not good enough to ignore the market.

The bottom

When considering both policy and mineral potential in the Investment Attractiveness Index, Zimbabwe ranks as the least attractive jurisdiction in the world for investment followed by Mozambique, South Sudan, and Angola. Also, in the bottom 10 (beginning with the least attractive for investment) are Zambia, South Africa, China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Papua New Guinea, and Tanzania. Africa is the region with the most jurisdictions (8) in the bottom 10. Asia and Oceania both have one jurisdiction each in the bottom 10.
