Trouble is that wwhen the shares are illiquid, like AAU is, very few would havr been able to sell a significant number at 6p without causing the share price to plummet. Of recent years, and I mean years, every new price is a buying opportunity , but a few weeks after is an opportunity at even less. I do blame the BoD. MDV has been chairman for far longer than is considered desirable for good governance, and he is hard to shift because of his shareholding. The CEO and geological spokesperson sits in Australia and a different bloody hemisphere from the main assets. And we need another prospect in the portfolio like we need a hole in the head. Just seems to me that Sener gets bored and needs a new toy un the toy box while losing concentration and interest on the ones he already has. How long have they had the great white hope Salinbas which of course they gave away control of.

Noticed Shortarm doing good defensive work over there.

Interview Kerim did a year ago.

Goes through his and the company's history and plans for the next 12 months (i.e. now). Interesting that his first job was in Zimbabwe and he is going back there again.

Very informative.

Doing another interview with the same person this week.

Tweet from investor

I think you'll find more investors are interested in getting regular updates from Salinbas rather than pictures of the drill in Zimbabwe, a region that doesn't inspire confidence regarding their political stability, and wouldn't of chosen to invest in that region.

Reply

Each project is at a different point in the exploration and development curve; Dokwe is at a more advanced stage than Salinbas. Both are exciting but for different reasons and each subject to its own set of risks. Our job as explorers and developers is to manage those risks.

Investor response

It's all very well drilling new holes in Zimbabwe, but what about Salinbas? You've been drilling holes there for over 2 years and we don't hear any updates

Reply

Salinbas represents an ongoing exploration and resource drilling programme for which updates have been provided on several occasions in the past two years. Further updates will be provided as the drilling programmes continue.

My sympathies to the Starvest shareholders who have had to watch the value of their holding diminish as constant disposals by the liquidators drag the AAU share price down and down.

How to recover from such a situation?.............buy AAU shares at todays price and watch the share price recover the lost value.

point - we have a plan .... but we wish for timelines and weighted resource allocation to the plan... that is what you want...

exactly

and who do you think you are... to have MANAGMENT PHANTASIES as shortarm well said

you will not get it because they aint stupid....and you are not the management... you could be /but BB declared/ or not be just a shareholder ... the last one ... to get some cash back and the first one to provide the cash to start it all moving.. all the other stakeholders come first when getting cash out of aau

and most support that .... reinvestment into so called further opportunities , buybacks etc

what one can do ... allocate just right amount of his own capital for the quality of info an execution we get...

i did it

Well vision to production for a start for the likes of Salinbas/Hiz, Magellan and other Cyprus assets, Project Leopard need I go on.
And the things you talk of Kaos, shareholders need timelines they don't want to be sticking a wetted finger in the air.

But shareholders need a vision. As Plasybryn says let's be having some plans of where we are going so we can decide to go on the journey including Zimbabwe or decide to finally wish them Bon Voyage and get off at the next stop wherever that is.

I don't think there will be a raising Thanksamillion. I think what will suffer is a divvy from Tavsan.
I would assume Ariana will take bigger slugs of Rockover in exchange for drilling rounds and Dfs etc.
The time to worry will be when they come to need to build a plant and that is many years off.

Why the need to raise funds,?

Me neither, but you never know. They must have some plan in mind to raise funds other than share issue at todays price.

The two producing mines and plant maybe, if the offer was right. All/most of the hard/technical work has been done, so to my mind they are easy sells.
