When I visited the mine they said there was something to do with concentrate degrading on transport and procea were looking into it then plans changed to do heap leach at tarsvan. When I spoke to company a year ago after results from tarsvan drilling came in I got impression they were over the moon with them and optimism that tarsvan was going to be much bigger than kizeltepe. As always with AAU the rnss underplay . Similar to recent interview re HIZ , if you were listening to that interview it certainly didn't come across as saying HIZ is one of most significant finds ever for AAU. Sometimes you've got to look under the bonnet.

Shortarm, that was my understanding of the change of processing plans.

Originally Tavsan was going to have final processing done at Kiziltepe. I am sure this has changed because Tavsan is now much bigger than the original study which gave something like 120 percent IRR at 1250 gold.

I vaguely remember there was talk of tarsvan ore or concentrate being processed at kizeltepe but the issue wasn't distance but to do with what happened to it during transportation.

There is a double incentive for Proccea to get the new mine up and running quickly. Not only are they being paid to build the mine plant they will then be entitled to 23.5 percent of the profits. I bet there will not be any delays on their part.

kaos

Ariana has stated previously, not sure which mine, that the mined material would be heap leached at the mine to reduce the volume needed to be trucked.

All down to the spread I'm afraid. That creates huge inertia. Newsflow has been good but until the price gets moving with a 0.1p spread the vast majority won't give this a second look

That WHIreland 30 page note is so conservative which I understand but just shows the potential. Very good though .

You're a very poor gambler, pettigrew.

Plasybryn - an excellent synopsis of the future prospects of AAU.

I take a very simple view of it, and over a 2-3 year timespan just simply accumulate here constantly.

I will carry on buying up to 3p and then wait for a multi-bagger from that level upwards.

Totally get your view. One think I would say is that buying tends to look 6-12 months ahead. But respect your view

Charles and Plasybryn,

Both good and fair posts. Being a pensioner clearly influences my investment strategy and yes, if I were younger I would have either held or would have brought back in to Ariana.

I will at some time buy back in although probably not at the bottom, but that is a decision that I think many other would-be investors are going to have to make in the near future. As ever, timing is everything !

JAF1948: I can understand that but Kerim suggested in the interview that Tavsan could be in commissioning production before Christmas which means 2024 should ramp up quite quickly. I suspect they are a lot further advanced at Tavsan than we realise. They were so confident the Court decision would go their way that they were working away in the background.
Then we have the Venus IPO this side of Christmas and I would imagine the deep drilling results from Hizarliyayla which could be very interesting indeed.

They are over half way through the Salinbas/Ardale resource and exploration drilling and further drilling is planned at Tavsan in the next couple of months.

Apart from the exciting news coming out of Kepez & Kizilcukur, there is drilling at Kizletepe to expand the Resource & Reserves. These three should extend the Life of Mine by quite a few years and add real value to the bottom line.

We were told the Kosovo (Silvova) exploration programme, EIA and Social Engagement Plan are underway in Q3. I'm excited about the Preliminary Economic Assessment/Scopying Study which UK based consultants Bara Consulting UK and Knight Piebald are producing. I expect that before Xmas as well.

With so much going on I think the share price could easily reach the Brokers expected share price target of 5.5p before the end of the year. Not an uplift to be scoffed at.

JAF - I get it. You are looking for a more immediate return whereas I feel that my money is where I want it to be for the long term. For various reasons our strategies are different. I think this is a safe investment with the possibility of a wild card that would put the price through the roof. It's at least as good and safe as anything else I've seen on AIM. I wish you well.

Charles,

For all the promising news over the past few weeks, there is nothing that will provide extra profit for Ariana in 2023 and therefore many investors (including myself) have not yet bought in or back in.

As I have said before, Ariana is a good investment if you can afford to put money aside for a couple of years but unfortunately, most of us are not in that position.

Kepez is close by to Kizilcukur and this is from the RNS we had on Kepez on just 13th March this year. (see below)

These two high grade, highly prospective areas are going to extend the Life of Mine at Kiziltepe by quite a bit in my opinion. Probably at least 3 years if not more.

KEPEZ: GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY RESULTS AT KEPEZ RNS 13th March 2023
“These are some of the most exciting exploration results we have ever reported from the broader Kiziltepe Sector in many years and we are highly motivated to do the work necessary to make a significant discovery."

AAU would do well to develop a proprietary AI system to compliment the BOXSCAN and UAV facilities already in use, either on their own or in partnership with say....NEWMONT. It would speed up the exploration process significantly.

Perhaps they could then list on Nasdaq, ;-)

PS I hope/suspect they alread are.

Four positive RNS and a good note from WHIreland in 8 days is very encouraging. Onwards and upwards from here IMO.

Or desperate Biggles, either for the cash to pay losses elsewhere, or to double up on AAU shorts,....or some other reason. But this is only going one way medium term, AND long term.

This has a spread bigger than my Mrs leggs and that enough to put anyone of buying as you loose money before you start.

Holding the price down for his mates i expect. Must have a few, but when they are gone, the price will recover like a rat up a drainpipe!
