Absolutely but KS and MDV have always believed the value will come from the discoveries of gold with tarsvan kizeltepe funding with and additional dividend when tarsvan producing. Happy days

Biggles - totally agree with your points well made. The only thing I'm not sure about is the spelling / pronunciation of the word Tasvan. It's becoming more important now so - should it be spelled / pronounced Tarsvan or Tasvan? No disrespect intended, just need to know.

Have I worked out correctly that Ariana's share of the profit from 2 mines could be in excess of 10 million dollars per year? With a market cap of 26.5 million pounds?
Tavsan construction paid for from current profits at Kizze so none or very little debt at Zenit. Total output 50k oz at 1000 dollars profit per oz. 23.5 percent AAU share.
This is a bloody good share to be in.
Just off to take the calming pills.

To me the tarsvan news is most important for years. Without positive news here we'd have been set back a number of years and potential fund raises . I'm really pleased at todays news irrespective of shareprice.

Positive musings coming from some commentators about Turkeys recent geopolitical decisions being more pro west, pressure by the US on Turkish banking and reduction in Russian influence in the region among some of the reasons. Might just come together this year.

Ariana – Superb News From Tavsan As Mine Construction Recommences

AIM-listed Ariana Resources (AAU) announced this morning that following Court action in Turkey, it has received the all-clear to resume construction at its second Gold mine in Turkey – Tavsan – and its team has remobilised already. This is great news for loyal shareholders such as myself.

Ariana Resources (AAU LN) 2.37p, Mkt Cap £27m – Construction at 23.5%-owned Tavsan Mine begins
Ariana provides an update on its 23.5% stake in Zenit Madencilik San JV with Ozaltin Holdings and Proccea construction which holds the Kiziltepe and Tavsan and Salinbas projects in Turkey.
The Tavsan project holds a JORC MII resource of 307koz Au and 1.1moz Ag.
The local Kütahya Administrative Court has now approved the recommencement of construction activities at the Tavsan mine site.
Large-scale, open-pit mining operations are expected to begin in H1-24.

C - you knew I couldn't resist replying to you. Well here's a happy message for everyone. Great news this morning and here's to a successful mine at Tasvan. Anyone who held throughout the uncertainty well done and to those that didn't and banked a profit, i dont know how you did it but well done. Now it's buy back time and you still have a chance before the price rebounds to 3p+, which it will. And finally, for those who have trouble predicting the future, it might be worth taking your had out of the sand and reading past news announcements and corporate reports. This company is going great places imho.

Plas - this morning's bullish news is already top article on TW's site - from Nigel S.

He's already hinting that the cashflow alone from Tavsan could begin to fund regular small dividend payments.

Quotes gold around $2,000 and production costs "south of $1,000" - so more or less a straight thousand dollars per oz profit.

Mr. Market hasn't woken up to it yet - but he will.

One of the three i mentioned in the bag. Great news. Now we can restore normality. Say 6 months to production although work has been ongoing, so that might be beaten. That means we are probably looking at Q1 2024. I hope that then means the dividend can then be reintroduced say later in 2024. All looking a lot more rosey today. And the gold price has recovered a bit as well.

The spread is garbage though. It's not actually a spread. On ADVFN it shows highest purchase price and lowest sell price from all market makers not just one market maker.

In the presentation they stated production. six months from restart so hoping for Q1 but saying that would only give 8weeks of wriggle room so get the H1. I think we can all be sure it will be done as fast as humanly possible.
