Another 0.05p drop. It's the death of a thousand cuts. Except in this case it will only take forty-four more.

it is...

ps ... i will still not buy back...

from the TA perspective i expect consolidation
then there is POG consolidation
then there is AAU getting its attitude/s/ in order

but in the long run I am optimistic for AAU

it is just winter time. we passed autumn. waiting for time to pass to see the first green. i am giving time to the natural forces to do its thing.

pps - despite being crazy selling at 2,9 p it was an ok move for a small mosquito size investor. takes a lot of mental power to do it being conscious of the real value lol

Kerim may call the shots with this BoD, but if shareholders had taken the opportunity to vote against the re-election of some of the other members at the most recent AGM it might be different. Kerim isn't being held to account by either the BoD or the shareholders.

They are all too comfortable in their positions as shareholders have proven themselves to be willing to put up with it to date.

The price today. Was showing about 2.25p most of the day which is about mid, but most of the afternoon my quote to buy were 2.34. Mow a closing figure is showing barely over 2p with a large uncrossing trade at 2.05p of nearly 1m shares.

Bigglesbingham I live just as far away as you and don't own enough to make the journey south worthwhile, as Shortarm likes to point out.
I really do not understand, however, someone holding well over a million pounds worth and many others holding many hundreds of thousands of pounds worth, not making the journey and then kicking up dust about YJ not pulling their weight.
So if Kerim calls all the shots what is the worth having an Agm without him there?

My interaction was direct with boards email as well as yellow jersey. There were mutings that there would be meeting with shareholders around the country rather than London which is not convenient when your 200 miles away and fully committed to your employment but that never came to fruition. It could be argued that the loudest retired individuals on this board could have made the journey having time on their hands. Bottom line is Kerim calls the shots and if he's not face to face it's pointless. They are fully aware patience is wearing thin.

Good point soulsauce. Overcoming the YJ filter. Direct eyeball contact with all 4 directors.

And maybe even obtain phone numbers Plasybryn to be able to circumvent YJ.

I agree Soulsauce. No one turning up to the AGM tells the Board everyone is happy. That was the perfect occasion to make views known face to face. And importantly to get immediate responses. Perhaps people just think it is a waste of time & money and feedback no matter how relevant, will be treated as water off a ducks back.

Not the only way.

The way would have been for the big holders to have made themselves available at the Agm and talk face to face.
It's OK shaking a metaphorical fist at YJ for their apparent inaction as a mediator with the management but the option was there a week or so ago to speak face to face and no one took it 🤷‍a94;️

Jeeze someone took a bath at the end there.

The only way to get change is to muster enough shares to force a resolution.Even if Biggles is willing to lead, can we muster enough to be noticed? I doubt it. But I am happy to pledge my few if others are game. The only other way I can see is to turn up at public meetings, events, etc. and make a nuisance of ourselves. And bring some orange powder.

All of us want Ariana to do well and for it to make money for current and future investors. But there is no point in denying what has happened recently nor Kerim's attitude to the share price.

If some frustration spills over, it is understandable but, by and large on here, it doesn't get personal.

Don't really want to enter this latest thread, but I say what I say with sincerity. Was also me who bought 250k on Friday so I think that is proof that I have no interest in undermining AAU. Quite the opposite. I am simply not happy with slothful progress on any number of promising prospects.

Go ahead Charles, I am not sure why you haven't done it already. What is holding you back.
Yet again you totally ignore that just a short while ago you was shouting for change and lending your shares if it was needed.
Spot on Jaf.

Well, yes, Charles. It's much easier to ignore opinions you don't like. The fact that those opinions have reflected what the share price has been doing over the past couple of years seems to be of no importance - for all the wonderful fundamentals and promises, this share is not making any money for its investors at the moment.

Would be nice if the detractors sold out and let the company get on with the job of value creation. I am on the verge of doing something I have not done before, filtering posters whose opinion I used to value but who have now turned in to monotonous bores

It's not something new though JD, the management have never recognised the share price as an importance hence the value will out however long it takes mantra.
I don't see that changing personally.
You saw Kerims argument in the Q&A. He will cherry pick several other companies and say we are doing no worse than the sector and he is right to some extent while taking no ownership of the Cyprus issues.

Indeed dixi
There has to come a point where the boards apparent dismissal of the importance of the share price performance has to be reconsidered. Anyone looking for the first time at AAU as a potential investment will look at the monotonously decreasing 3 year share price graph and just strike AAU from their list of possibilities.

Leaving AAU at 6p would have been a particularly good move too. The wonders of hindsight!!
