Mariana's Hot Maden was sold a long time before it could be a mine. I am sure there will be those looking to see what develops here knowing what Hot Maden holds. And of course across the wider Salinbas and Ardale deposit. It could surely lead to an interested party making a bid at some point, like Sandstorm did with Mariana. So think value will not materialise until a mine is operational years down the road might be being overly pessimistic.

zangdook, possibly but the rns suggests more than 600m

"The elevation difference noted here indicates that we may need to drill holes well over 600m deep in order to encounter a potential Hot Maden-type discovery."

i suppose it could be a bit of both i.e. deeper than 600m but not deeper by as much as hm.

Yes I sold them. Just saw something else I wanted that little bit more. I have plenty here, no other reason.

If the elevation was caused by land being pushed up, rather than by the deposit of sediment, presumably any HM-equivalent deposit is likely to be at a greater elevation than HM itself. but wdik

given that ks is shooting for a hm type find at hizar, questions this rns raises;

1.
(a) how much deeper than 600m will they need to drill? (600m gets them to same elevation as top of hm so the question could be re-phrased as 'what is the depth of the hm find'?)
(b) how many holes at that depth will they need, to give a high probability that its a hm type find?

2. how long will that take?

3. what is the likely timeframe to monetise that result i.e. to complete a sale (whole or part)?

4. will aau appoint a heavyweight commercial director to ensure fair value is achieved?

5. has ks started to prioritise the hizar work and divert resources accordingly, and if not, why not?

The only ramping seems to be repeated mention of Hot Maden. As someone who sold out of Mariana when they were still fooling around in South America I have absolutely no feelings about this.

Think you have to take him at his word. We cannot scream at them to produce more positive rnss then criticise them for ramping ffs

And now you've sold them despite your post?

Or is that figure a coincidence?

Well since the Q&A, news flow has commenced and that news flow has been broadly positive. I guess that's all we can ask. Ariana has taken several steps backwards of late (some driven by external factors, some not) so these incremental steps forward are important. Although some very important pieces of the jigsaw are still to come. As a shareholder, it is frustrating to see a lack of buying in the market, but if the news flow keeps coming and progress is positive, I'm largely happy with that. However due largely to their MO, Ariana has now become a SIPP investment for me rather than something more short/medium term. So happy to tuck away more when I can at these levels, hence my buy first thing.

Right, well time will tell and you always need plenty of time with Ariana.

And there was me thinking the 12 tick ups were for his comment on people filling their boots ;-))

Well.Mining as a rule takes years but we are well positioned in a number of areas so I think your timescale is off. 'lost and sceptical/disillusioned ex investors are hard to win back, and we don't do enough to attract new investors.'Investors old and new would rocket back with anything like a Hot Maden drill result. Either at Hizzy or Leopard.

I think we all can agree Nov31 that although the initial results may be good, it is going to take many more years of planning and drilling to prove up a resource worth mining at that depth.
There is nothing to excite investors to buy in here in the short and maybe medium term.

Also lost and sceptical/disillusioned ex investors are hard to win back, and we don't do enough to attract new investors.

Nothing short of Kerim walking out of a mine with a 100oz gold nugget is going to excite this market. If Kerim is being his normal conservative self this morning, i do actually believe now in the "give it time ...value will out ethos". It would be great to see him in person at the AGM. Body language, glint in the eye etc.

Seems there is going to be an awful lot of work for a little bit of gold, I was rather hoping for a little bit of work for an awful lot of gold. To be fair, I have never doubted Kevin’s ability to make my heirs very rich..but therein lies the problem!

Perhaps they've interpreted the complaints to mean we want style over substance. The share price isn't doing well, break out the tambourines and try to excite the market with a bit of showmanship.

We all know Kerim is an excellent geologist regardless of what else others think of him!Imagine the frenzy if a HM style result of 105.5M at 2.34 percent copper and 17.39g/t gold.30% was sold for 170 million!

So we have the MD saying they are the most significant results to date. They indicate a Hot Maden extension or similar find. 30% of hot madden sold for 175m dollars. The grades didn't excite me but the implications do. If KS describes the findings in such a manner then notice needs to be taken. I'd be interst

Oh dear.
Lots of confirmation bias here.
Needs to drill deeper yet the “good bits” of those results happened far from near the bottom of the holes.
Distinctly average drill results. Not terrible but a long long way from exciting or significant.
