23/6/2023 10:52 | Shortarm - as usual, Kerim is being measured in his narrative, but you can see where he is going with this. The most exciting drill results are yet to come. I'm sticking tight to the story and letting the expert get on with the job. | charles clore
23/6/2023 09:42 | If this is correct - wow! Scaled schematic long-section through the Hot Maden, Hizarliyayla and Ardala/Salinbas areas, identifying the regular spacing of hydrothermal (potentially porphyry derived) centres. The potentially most well-preserved system occurs at Hizarliyayla and future drilling will need to be planned accordingly. | shortarm
23/6/2023 08:15 | Thanksamillion - yes ... but I was talking weimar or yugoslavia style inflation , not just up to 30 pc pa.... that is still manageable. the wisdom, accumulated capital strehgt of the individuals and above all civil discourse shows the age and accumulated experience of the posters on this thread. thnx you all | kaos3
23/6/2023 07:58 | kaos I can assure you there are plenty on here still in the land of the living who well remember the inflation of the 70's and 80', but I take your point. ;-) | thanksamillion
23/6/2023 07:50 | ot cash is king statement ... not really if held too long without use in an inflationary enviroment ... how long ... up to several months imho what is decreasing/destroyin - monetary inflation - reported printing of the currency.. currently 20-30 pc pa - black budgeds - unreported printing of the currency /yes it exists and it can represent even up to 30,50 per cent of the reported summ towards the end of the currency cycle/ - regulatory inflation ... putting on f.e. stricter ESG regulations means we can buy less of the same product because it gets more expensive... prices get up several percent for each single regulation ... now start up adding all new regulations over the last several years - corporations labour vs profit ratio ... labour will be increasing its fair share of the cake etc etc.... imho cash is rapidly loosing its value if not deployed in time... I should know living in several high inflation periods ... and the living west has no experience with it. like getting the pay check and running to the black market for the german marks in less than an hour the best strategy is deploying cash into a low risk cash producing asset .... like an operating gold mine, forrest, superb real estate et similar... eg holding cash in a high inflation environment is a loosing proposition.... a past bias not adopted to the new reality... holding cash producing assets is the best option all imho | kaos3
22/6/2023 20:46 | it was a lse download. anyway a minor point. main issue is how are aau now going to progress the hizar drill programme, and will it be with some priority/urgency or the same 'it'll get there in the end' type attitude that seems to have overcome the company. | konil
22/6/2023 20:16 | Thanks Hufster. Clearly not enough time invested in reading the detail my end. | lottsgold

22/6/2023 18:06 | Posts from an Apple iphone device adds spurious question marks etc which is highly annoying. I am told it is the fault of ADVFN but who knows.Anyone going to the AGM | plasybryn

22/6/2023 15:13 | Is this the second dip down I suggested "may" happen 2 - 3 weeks after the previous one??? I'm off | thanksamillion

22/6/2023 14:05 | I intend going to the AGM. Can anyone who has been to previous AGM’s please comment about PI involvement. Do they just shoot through it all and get the “hell” out of it? As we are shirt, jacket and tie, do we get food afterwards as a gift of the managements appreciation to PI’s who own the majority of the Company shares and are losing their shirts here? Funny that we get two RNS announcements just before the AGM, presumably to limit the criticism expected. It’s so easy to be cynical when we’ve seen a drain of cash with so little tangible reward. Thanks in advance for inputs. IB | impatient_boy
22/6/2023 13:05 | The Turkish lira slid to a fresh record low against the dollar after the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) hiked its policy rate from 8.5% to 15%. In its first decision under new Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan, the CBRT said it decided to increase the rate "in order to establish the disinflation course as soon as possible" and bring inflation, which currently stands at 39.59%, to 5%. The dollar surged 2.87% against the lira to go for 24.24050 at 1:34 pm CET. The euro also climbed compared to the Turkish currency, gaining 2.54% against the lira to sell for 26.53621 at 1:45 pm CET. 22/6/2023 12:52 | Maybe that was always on the cards xow, cynically held back until after the election. Mind you not much better here. There has to be a better way of fighting inflation than needing to go into recession and all the turmoil that causes. | soulsauce
22/6/2023 12:21 | Turkish central bank hikes rates by 650 bps | xow98
22/6/2023 11:14 | this explains excitement - thank you | kaos3
22/6/2023 10:34 | Definitely worth a quick look at the PDF version of the RNS. Figure 3 gives a nice overview of why they are excited about Hizarliyayla. Scaled schematic long-section through the Hot Maden, Hizarliyayla and Ardala/Salinbas areas, identifying the regular spacing of hydrothermal (potentially porphyry derived) centres. The potentially most well-preserved system occurs at Hizarliyayla and future drilling will need to be planned accordingly. | huffster
22/6/2023 10:32 | Excellent idea kaos 👏👏 | soulsauce
22/6/2023 10:25 | full gann chart is for the deterministic processes mostly - actions, interconnections and task time needed but in general for us non industry participants/investo hugely helfull to understand complexity of the task... would probably increase our patience and decrease banter | kaos3
22/6/2023 10:06 | plasybryn, gantt chart for milestones to a mine, if that's a hizar mine i guess its extremely unlikely we get a chart. too far off i'd say. would be good for say tavsan and cyprus projects though those also unlikely given management modus operandi of late. could also be done for hizar of course but to what end? if hizar hits hm type deposits probably more likely a sale (of whole or part) with incoming party taking over the long run towards a mine. they could do a gantt for the remaining drilling phase after they replan the drilling which i suspect they are doing after the latest results. i'm just dreaming you realise, but it was ks's comments in last rns that set me off! :-) | konil
22/6/2023 08:18 | Tirade Charles really?? There was nothing in my post of 18544 that was a tirade just pointing out the facts that you are flakier than one of those pieces of Cadbury chocolate that are now too flaky to make up a 99 ice cream. I have no intention of steering the ship and wouldn't even think that was possible. If I thought it was I would have given up long before now. Now you was hoping to turn the ship around with your gang of big holders trying to scrabble 10% of shares together due to your dissatisfaction at the time which has miraculously disappeared. | soulsauce |
