While we're at it.. not a skiier but I frequent the same places in the opposite season. I'm an Ultra/mountain runner. Off to Chamonix again in August to run UTMB.

My daughter lives in Morzine, Haute Savoire. We spent three weeks with them over Christmas and the wonderful Grindelwald in Switzerland. Both my granddaughters have lessons regularly and are very proficient skiers. In the summer they have mountain bike lessons. It's a great place to live if you like outdoor activities. They also have horse riding, sledging and snow boarding lessons. Les Ges and Avoriaz are also close by.- good sky centres.

Gave skiing a try at Courchevel in the 90's. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing, fabulous atmosphere, but sadly never been repeated. Nearest I get to breaking bones is ice skating in the UK these days, but still a worthy challenge for me :-)

Love Trysil too Shortarm. We've taken the kids there several times - quieter and better snow than the Alps.

Ariana ski trip to Erciyes, surely. Turkish ski resort!

It seems most Ariana holders are also keen skiers. Had planned to go to Kicking Horse in Canada this season, but being a certified old git the US insurance is more than the air fare so probably Three Valleys instead. When Arians comes good the insurance will not matter.
Perhaps an Arians ski trip complete with Ariana T shirts.

Hafjell is my favourite in Norway, dead quiet if you pick the right week! Heading to Åre in Sweden in March and Kvitfjell in April. Then it’s polishing the boat ready for the summer - work work work!
