That is my worry also. Yes, Kerim may well increase the wealth of the company over the next decade but how much will actually accrue to the shareholders, and, on a more personal and morbid point, will I even be alive then.

Patience Charles, patience. I have been here about 17yrs and seen very little for it. In fact I would have probably got a bigger return in a bank in that time.
I am hanging around for Salinbas and that only. If it doesn't look anything special I will be off as I am not devoting anymore time or money to Kerims brand of shareholder satisfaction.

CC - even if Tavsan & Salinbas are throwing cash ... the cash (divi) being paid out of our minority JV stake depends on the mercy of the majority owner...

a highly leveraged Osman civil engineering conglomerate....

why would they share the liquidity ... when perfectly legal they can lend JV cash for our benefit ... forever ...not to themselves

It's not exactly normal for a junior miner to issue a dividend, but that's what AAU did in 2021/2. They didn't have to do that. I thought it was indicative of future policy and that's why I think that any large gains from the highly prospective Salinbas will find their way into our pockets. Patience.

AAU has no potential of being taken over ... even at dispersed PI ownership. Hence share price will always (till change) carry a huge discount.

The only way would be a sudden hostile proxy voting fight ..... over BOD

as - if someone stars collecting shares jewels can be sold off with a stroke of a pen... fully legally imho.

no one will bother ... to rescue us ... if this goes on and does not EVER provide any reasonable returns to the shareholders.

building value is just a necessary condition - but not sufficient for us to get something out of it.

KS is building value ... but then it gets thrown around within the AAU empire and its trace slowly gets dispersed and my visibility of the funds gets lost. Created value in the cash form should be visible, traceable, approachable, accounted for what it did in what time period and partially transferred to shareholders.

Just saw a tweet from Yellow Jersey. Did a double take in case it was one for us. Guess what, it wasn't.

I agree with you actonovator, Ariana are a exploration and development company, selling on, if only part for a return to shareholders. The problem is this all takes a long time and some of us may not be around to see the returns.

Well they havnt Soul so perhaps its a grey area. Many here will disagree but I also think its a reasonable possibility that Ariana would sell their remaining stake in Zenit to Ozaltin for the right price. Who knows, perhaps they are waiting for a year's worth of Salinbas drilling results before they arrive at a fair valuation?

Not been any disappointing news Charles? I don't think that it is strictly true as it is hidden beneath a veil of what we have come to expect here.
Tavsan being many years behind on production and still no definite date for that production.
Apliki dropping further back as every day goes by and still no sign of Venus ipo.
The lack of no resolution on a dividend policy.

I do agree with you about Salinbas though and that is where my FOMO comes in, although a niggle inside me keeps wondering why we are not being told anything.

Despite progress being disappointing here there has not been any disappointing news and this still remains one of the most promising small gold players in the game with a good producing mine with another in the pipeline this year. Also I will wait for the Salinbas news because that could be huge gamechanger here.

My fomo is applying to other opportunities now. I have only so much capital available for this game. Reducing here and casting a wider net has some appeal.

Failing any news re Salinbas before Friday, it will be 14mths since drilling started.
I think many of us are on our knees here with exasperation dixi and the only thing keeping many of us here is FOMO.

The market makers sure love to duck and dive. Kerim seems to think we will be alright. He's a bit like God. People pray to him for some reassurance but he never answers. I think he believes in the story but I'm beginning to wonder whose story it actually is and whether shareholders are a part of it

Yes, you could easily argue the 5 year chart has some positives, but also a good reflection of the company's attitude to pr. I still believe KS's assertion that this will become a £500m company will come to pass. But it's shareholder attrition along the way.

It's all well and good to say this company's fundamentals are very sound. That is making the assumption that this company is run like any normal public company, which it clearly is not.

Is he even doing much of that now for Ariana xow?
I am thinking Zak does most of the heavy lifting in Turkey, Wtr do the geology in Kosovo and Venus in Cyprus.
When was he last hands on in Turkey?

I picture him sat gazing over the Newmont database and orchestrating things from home base Australia while doing more for PNT and pimping himself out to the Asgard companies 🤔

KS can do the prospecting, which he is brilliant at. We do however also have a chairman and 2 non-execs who could pull their finger out and get things moving, or apply pressure on KS to get things moving.
