bo doodak, with a mine fully permitted and a relatively short build phase, i agree with your view. if it was going to be a 7 or 10 year slog before production then i think bb's wrap with a pretty bow and sell would be better.

Really hope that is not the choice made, as that limits the value obtained and gives it to someone else. Keep it and grow accretively, whilst still looking at new prospects. They should be able to self fund without selling by then.

Further results after the resource upgrade.... How many years mine life? :-)
· New intercepts from surface for the Kepez North scree returned:
o 3.2m @ 11.53g/t Au + 168.7g/t Ag
o 5.3m @ 3.06g/t Au + 62.0g/t Ag
Infill resource drilling results from the Kepez North vein include:
o 8.8m @ 6.23g/t Au + 26.0g/t Ag
o 6.4m @ 6.23g/t Au + 57.8g/t Ag

This resource upgrade was earlier this year for just Kepez North. Now they've just finished the largest ever drill campaign... 16 year mine life anyone?
· 97% increase in contained gold ounces over previous resource estimate (2020) and a 310% increase over the Feasibility Study Resource (2013).

· Significant positive increase in average grade to 7.14g/t Au + 64.65g/t Ag.

paul, i suspect the apliki mine might have changed his mind, i.e. venus no longer short term because mine development fully permitted and almost turnkey so no need to sell and move on to avoid pain and many years of lead time to get to production. so quick to production for apliki but also kokkinoyia pending agreements. bwdik.

I seem to remember Kerim saying that Venus would be a very short term project for Ariana so could he be reducing our holding to a very low percentage with another special dividend?

doinnuthing, good point, i was assuming it remained at 50%, i.e. aau have earned in to 50% of venus, not 50% of a project. but i dont know for sure.

Agreed totally with your comment and I too wish their marketing and promotion was improved as I have said on many occasions and directly to the people it relates too. My issues have been that the implication on some post it that the company is doing nothing because they aren't hyping it. The fact it they are working hard they are producing results but they ain't shouting loud enough about it but that's the nature of the individuals who run the company. You just have to take a step back and ask are you happy - taking everything into account. I am so ive added 7 million over the year. Others have left or reduced and thank them for giving me the opportunity to buy at these levels. And I wish them luck because we all need it.

I am interested in finding out what AAU's percentage interest will be in Venus Minerals once their IPO happens. It is 50% now but will obviously reduce unless it is not Venus Minerals that will be listed but a subsidiary similar to the Panther Metals plc and the Panther Metals Ltd Australian set up?
Any thoughts /or has any news come out that I have missed on this topic.

BB - as I see it - a good story sells much better than reality.

People like me are saying we demand more story telling from our BOD now - after we are fully invested - to lift our wealth. it doesnt mean we will sell - but it gives us good warm feeling we could sell at a superb profit and makes (me) feel smart - as we are part of a proven success story confirmed by the share price action.

by story telling much much more can be squeezed out of AAU - for nothing but empty words

Enter Musk, David Lenigas, Andrew Bell etc ..... what story telling brings to the table ... and if it is supported by reality it is just a bomb

The main focus of many on this BB is that the main board is too lean considering all the projects on the go. I don't see how your comment adds anything? Or was it meant in jest.

That's a rather large assumption is it not? As to whether someone listens is another matter. I focus on the positive as there are so many. I don't ignore the negative I just try and do something about it using avenues that could work. Moaning on a bulletin board just get peoples backs up to the extent KS doesnt read them. YJ and MDV does.

No answers as to what MdV does all day. As Chairman he sits in the big chair when they have Zoom meetings and as secretary he takes notes. That probably covers 3 days. One day to put his jacket on and one day to brush his beard.
