They must be interested in the share price because they keep exercising warrants and selling shares to cover the cost.

I'm happy to wait for developments, at least in the medium term, but that doesn't excuse the lack of broker note Charles.

Soul - I'm happy to wait for developments as we all know with everything that is happening in Turkey and Cyprus, not to mention Eastern Europe we are unlikely to be disappointed. A bit more patience is needed and all will be fine imho.

All valid points as usual, Biggles, but most people do not have your time frames and are looking for a shorter time to gain rewards.

I'd just like to add a point here. When it's stated that the board are not bothered about share price I think that's not accurate I'd argue it's not a priority but it would obviously be on the agenda, if for no other reason it makes their life easier when conducting presentations. Now there are companies out there where it's clear that the management talk up the company / results / etc with a clear intention to affect the share price ,usually because a fund raise is imminent. My experience says those companies are seen through by the markets. A broker note would be useful but it's rarely had any effect on share price ultimately the value here will be from results the road to that value will have have perks and troughs but I'm extremely comfortable with their strategy and tremendous progress over the last two years.

Hi Charles so you are saying we should wait until Q2 22 because that is how long it may be before we have core data from Salinbas.
I am still concerned that the drilling of Salinbas won't happen this year as it seems they have still not started at Tavsan and as we know the snows can come anytime now in that part of Turkey and at that elevation.

It's also not a very catchy mantra, is it - 'come and buy shares in a company where the management doesn't care about the share price'.

I get that Thanksamillion but they have a duty to shareholders too, and it is unforgivable to employ a broker with the clout that PG carries and literally not get their monies worth.
It is also unforgivable that there hasn't been a note for so long and the excuses given for not issuing one.
It is amazing how on the one hand Kerim was concerned about costs when sorting out the divvy but is happy to carry a premium broker and not make use of them.
Rant over!!

Soul I am convinced the company is not interested in the so as they are not looking to raise any funding at this stage. Wait until the Salinbas drill results come in and then I think we may see things change significantly. That could also be the trigger for a very upbeat PG note. Then we will understand what their game is imho.

A PG note is required more than ever now given how Ariana has spread itself.
How can anyone, but us long termers and other holders, possibly work out what the company is about, it's objectives and put a valuation on it.
Most prospective investors won't even bother, and move on to one of the many others. Unfortunately the mgt don't get this or it doesn't bother them.

And one of the reasons the price is down here is because Panmure Gordon have not put out a 12p guidance.

All sell today, I guess Panmure Gordon are embarrassed to put out a 12p guidance when the price is down here :-)

Link to article posted by Ariana on Twitter. Read the whole thing, but this is an extract re: copper.Copper, which Woodmac emphasizes "sits at the nexus of the energy transition" stands out particularly. The 19 million tonnes of additional copper that need to be delivered for net-zero 2050 implies a new La Escondida must be discovered and enter production every year for the next 20 years. Even if you focus on just one of the obstacles bringing new copper supply online – the time it takes to build a new mine – and leave aside all other factors, net-zero 2050 has zero chance. https://www.mining.com/cop26-will-be-a-colossal-mining-cop-out/

Is the new Resource for Kiziltepe the next big milestone? If they can say extend the life of mine by 4 years (realistic?) that would be 4 times 20,000 ozs of which ours is 23.5%. How much value do we think that would add? As this must be imminent, I'm sure Panmure Gordon will want to factor this is. Then I'm expecting Tavsan life of mine to be extended - more value, and then the big unknown Salinbas drill results. Sentiment in the sector is dire, but it is hard to ignore hard increases in assets.

Thanks. Very Helpful reminder. In times of abject global challenges or indeed massive sector strength peer comparisons very much paint the macro picture to assist individual company investment decisions but often overlooked by those with tunnel vision.

Quite interesting post on Twitter about how the minnows have faired in 2021. AAU has actually been one of the best places to be. https://twitter.com/oilplayer2009/status/1453431420190277636?s=21
