27/3/2024 08:39 | For those who haven't listened to Lord Lee talk about ANP and other things. | igoe104
27/3/2024 08:26 | hxxps://www.ciwf.org Published 27/02/2024 Campaigners are calling on the Westminster government to deliver on its commitment to ban the use of prophylactic antibiotic treatments of groups of farm animals, as the EU did in 2022, and to prioritise better husbandry standards. | bhaskarpatel2
26/3/2024 16:24 | Lord Lee talking positive on Anpario on his Investors Chronicle interview today | bhaskarpatel2
26/3/2024 04:55 | Large delayed trades from Friday. Sellers clearing and then off to the (chicken) races for this £40m animal health champion | bhaskarpatel2
22/3/2024 13:52 | 3800 - thankyou. Don't quite know how i missed that fairly basic point. I'm only out by a factor of 5 on the dividend....must have been having a bad day. Thanks for picking up on the error. | nivison
21/3/2024 11:53 | and the CFO too! | bhaskarpatel2
21/3/2024 07:30 | Good to see the new non-exec buying 4k of shares.. | cfro
20/3/2024 20:15 | Nivison The Directors propose a final dividend of 7.50p per share (2022: 7.35p) making a total of 10.70p per share for the year (2022: 10.50p), amounting to an expected total dividend of £1.8m (2022: £1.9m). During the year a Tender Offer was undertaken to purchase 4,000,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 225 pence per Ordinary Share, this was concluded on 7 July 2023. All 4,000,000 Ordinary Shares purchased were cancelled on the same day, 7 July 2023. the tender offer isn't a yearly event Nivison. the dividend actually cost less this year as there was less shares in issue. there is a lot of reading in the final results. 3800 | 3800
20/3/2024 16:34 | The lucky few of anyone buying today will make a good turn on this soon enough because the only people aside from us who realised what happened today and the real tone change in the business are the institutions who are slower to move but they will take out the overhang 9.1x net of cash 2025 PE is unheard of for this stock so this will rally hard from here over the next year | bhaskarpatel2
20/3/2024 15:29 | Excellent points cfro. Could be big opportunities in the Dog food market... | igoe104
20/3/2024 13:44 | Creditable performance in my view in difficult circumstances in 2023. Outlook comments do suggest that at last revenues may show a decent improvement in 2024 and with high operational gearing I am hopeful of significant growth in profitability this year.Been a couple of times to Worksop for the AGM, but a 5 hour round trip (if all well on M1 or A1) so pleased in London this time. | partridge1948
20/3/2024 11:00 | Anpario is strikingly cheap and the market is in deep sleep that this was a massive profit upgrade today! 16% and the share price is up 3%. We need Paul Scott to notice it as he missed it too on SCVR! Technicals on the chart look ripe for a sustained rise. Giant cash pile too and a 5% dividend! | bhaskarpatel2
20/3/2024 09:55 | Here's a genuine question to which there may be a very simple answer. How is a company that can pay out £10 million in dividends every year valued at just £46 million? Theres £10 million in the bank too. I dont get it. | nivison
20/3/2024 09:16 | Shore upgrade FY24 EPS by 16% to 17.8p. Starting to look cheap again. | wjccghcc
20/3/2024 09:11 | he final quarter of 2023 delivered a welcome improvement in sales volumes and gross margins that has continued into 2024, suggesting both that the global situation is improving and that management's actions to improve margins are delivering results. Cant knock the divi at current levels | zipstuck
20/3/2024 08:55 | I suspect the decision on moving the AGM to London is because hardly any shareholders turn-up at Worksop. It's in the middle of nowhere which is why i myself have never gone.. I suspect another reason is to attract more interest in the company from both II's and PI's. It's a sad fact that today there is hardly any interest in UK small-caps epecially if the said company is going through a difficult patch. People today have such sort patience and hence panic and sell, then see US stocks going up so switch their money across into Nvidia instead.. | cfro
20/3/2024 08:29 | Results are a very slight beat on Jan statement so no surprises | zipstuck
20/3/2024 08:24 | Market seems to like the forward looking statement, some decent buys coming in this morning... At around £2.40 | igoe104
20/3/2024 07:29 | I welcome the dividend increase but i did think they would increase the dividend more inline with last years tender offer and share count reduction. They certainly have the cash to do this.. | cfro
20/3/2024 07:26 | Interesting to see they are moving the AGM to London instead of HQ worksop. I wonder if its for more fund manager participant.... | igoe104
20/3/2024 07:19 | Results not great for 2023, but things are improving in 2024. It will be interesting to read the forward looking broker note, to find out what ANP call a strong start to 2024... | igoe104
19/2/2024 19:09 | I note softening in last week or so, perhaps in sympathy with EAH and GNS. I have posted on the EAH page a couple of Bloomberg articles on the Chinese pork industry. I note in H1 23 China represented 13% of total sales by ANP and am going on the basis that a majority of these China sales were pork rather than poultry etcet but of course have no idea. | cerrito |
